Regarding the photos, they were taken professionally more than 13 years ago and, as is common practice in our area, only very small adjustments were made to remove visual distractions. The villa’s layout, views and surroundings remain exactly as shown. In all these years, this is the first time a guest has felt the images were inaccurate, so your remark is genuinely surprising. As for the caretaker, we are sorry if his attentiveness felt overpowering. He is responsible for protecting the property, but of course this should never interfere with a guest’s comfort. The rubbish collection and cleaning schedule are clearly stated as weekly on the listing. If at any point something seemed unclear or you needed assistance, you could always contact me directly and I would have been happy to help resolve it immediately. Concerning the directions, we understand how frustrating it can be to arrive after a long trip and struggle to find the property. In 25 years of welcoming guests, this is the first time someone has reported difficulty, but we will still re‑evaluate the instructions to ensure they are as clear as possible. Unfortunately, the hosting platform does not allow us to send external links with detailed maps, but we are always available to assist if guests need help on arrival. We have taken the feedback from you and past guests about the beds seriously. We had arranged to change the beds and mattresses for this season, but because of the worldwide supply chain problems and shortages, we were unable to do this on time. In fact, one of the main beds will be changed in the next few days. It is unfortunate that you didn't have the opportunity to enjoy it. Maybe sometime in the future.

I’m glad you enjoyed the authentic style of the villa and the pool area. At the same time, I’m sorry that certain aspects of your stay caused inconvenience. Regarding the cleaning schedule, the villa listing notes that we provide cleaning once per week, which is the standard for this type of accommodation. Towels are also changed during that weekly service, but if you had requested extra towels at any point, we would have been more than happy to provide them. As for the bins and rubbish removal, you reached out to us during your stay and we collected the bags as soon as you asked. We understand how important this is, and we always respond quickly when guests notify us. About the checkout time, the standard checkout stated on our website is 9:30 AM. We try to be flexible whenever possible, and in many cases we allow guests to stay later. However, on days when new guests arrive, it becomes impossible for us to extend checkout beyond 10:00 AM due to the time needed to prepare the villa properly. I’m sorry if this was not communicated clearly enough and that it made you feel uncomfortable. We sincerely value your comments and will use them to improve our communication going forward.
