This is a truly beautiful property. With views of Esthwaite lake and a short pleasant walk into Hawkshead. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout. There was more than ample space for 2 people. Gill and Geoff really were the perfect hosts. We really couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be back.

We had a great stay in this beautiful cottage ! The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need and the attention to detail was second to none . Gill and Geoff are wonderful hosts , offering good advice on the area . The bed is super comfy , large walk in shower with plenty of hot water and fresh towels. The view across the fields to the Osprey nest from the comfort of your own armchair is amazing! Bring binoculars! All in all we had the perfect stay and can’t wait to return in the future . Would highly recommend. Thank you Gill

Beautiful accommodation in an idyllic setting. Host were very welcoming and made us feel at home. I would highly recommend this accommodation.Only thing to be aware of is the area can be very busy and parking can be difficult and expensive.Very narrow country lanes are challenging when driving around.
