Cottage à proximité du sentier côtier et des plages de Borth Y Gest et Morfa Bychan

Ffermdy Bach (petite ferme) est un cottage indépendant d'une chambre attenant à la ferme traditionnelle des propriétaires. Avec sa propre entrée et son grand jardin privé, c'est l'escapade parfaite pour un couple. Situé entre les villages de Borth y Gest et Morfa Bychan, le chemin de la plage est à seulement quelques minutes à pied menant aux plages de sable de Borth y Gest. Une base fantastique pour explorer Snowdonia et la péninsule de Llyn, d'autres attractions à proximité incluent Porthmadog (1,5 mille) avec ses célèbres chemins de fer Ffestiniog et Welsh Highland, Portmeirion (6 kilomètres) et les villes et châteaux de Criccieth et Harlech à quelques minutes en voiture.

Le chalet dispose d'une chambre double confortable avec des meubles anciens et du linge de lit en coton. Il y a de la place pour un lit bébé (non fourni) si vous avez un jeune bébé. La salle de douche a un sèche-serviettes et des serviettes sont fournies

La cuisine / salon est une pièce confortable qui comprend tous vos besoins de cuisine ainsi qu'une table à manger, des chaises et un canapé. Il y a une TV / DVD et de nombreux livres et cartes fournis pour vous aider à explorer la région.

A beautifully kept immaculate, with tasteful decor, cosy, perfectly situated cottage, every thing we could need was available, a wellcoming host who communicated throughout our stay. Lovely little cottage in beautiful area

Very pretty cottage which is very clean and well equipped. Short walking distance to beaches, short car journey to lots of places to visit and shops cafés and restaurants. We will definitely visit again

A great well equipped cottage in a very peaceful location in walking distance of the beach and local village which has excellent cafes & restaurants. Cottage had a well equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Check in was seamless A great base for exploring the local area such as Portmeirion and the Ffestiniog railway.

Weekend in Borth y Gest

We had a lovely weekend in an area we have never visited before, the cottage is cosy and well equipped, perfect for two. Branwen is a great host and we had everything we needed for a relaxing break, we look forward to returning in the near future.

We were impressed with prior information and instructions in the cottage. The cottage is attached to the main farmhouse but private access and pretty secluded garden. Fabulous location in a beautiful part of Wales

The cottage was extremely cozy and comfortable. Everything you need for a good stay was there. Clean and lovingly decorated. The hostess was very attentive and responds very quickly and friendly to questions. Also very pleasant was the possibility to charge the car at the cottage. A very warm, cosy retreat in a stunning location

This is a really cosy, warm cottage, situated just a short walk from a lovely beach. We were made to feel very welcome straight away and the fresh flowers, milk and welsh cakes were a lovely welcoming touch. The cottage has everything you need and plenty of maps and guidebooks to help you make the most of your stay, whatever the weather. Perfectly located for exploring Snowdonia and the Llyn peninsula... we will definitely look to return!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage . The cottage was immaculate well equipped and cosy at the same time . Location was great with lovely walks nearby . Just perfect !

A beautiful cottage. Well equipped with everything you would need. Branwen the owner has made it so comfy and cosy with lots of finishing touches . There is plenty of room upstairs and downstairs and the kitchen and bathroom are modern and bright. Look out for the rabbits and the squirrels in the garden and you will also hear the owls. We had lovely and relaxing stay....just wished we had booked a longer stay.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location

The cottage and garden were even nicer and a bit bigger than the photographs and reviews suggested. It was near many beautiful walks through woods and along sandy paths to stunningly beautiful and deserted sandy coves, or to Borth y Gest with a bistro and cafe. (They do get very busy and The Moorings was booked up well ahead, so we didn't eat there. Very handy shop in the village for most supplies and a fish and chip shop too. The weather was quite wet and sometimes cool when we were there (in August) but it really didn't matter, lots of good books and outdoors many beautiful beaches, mountains, small towns and castles to visit. Branwen was there if needed and replied promptly to texts but respected out space and left us to enjoy our holiday.

Had a wonderful week away in the cottage staying as a small family with our 7 month old. The cottage was in a great location and facilities were just what we needed. Enjoyed the outside space in the nice weather.

Our Welsh cottage

The cottage at Borth y Gest was excellent. the pictures and description were accurate. We particularly enjoyed watching the wildlife from the door of the bedroom, rabbits and a variety of birds and a grey squirrel. Branwen and Paul were friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the bed. It was difficult for me to get into because it was so high. The mattress was firm which we like but it had a strange effect in that we continually felt we would fall out of bed. It affected my partner, Paul's back causing pain and so he slept on the floor.

Thank you Christine for your review and we're glad you enjoyed your stay at Ffermdy Bach. We're so sorry to hear that you and your husband didn't find the bed to your liking. It is an antique bedstead so it's higher than a modern bed but has a new comfortable mattress. Bed types are a very individual preference and we're really sorry you had problems of which we were unaware when you stayed with us, we hope it didn't spoil your stay too much.

We moved here in 1996 and now our daughters have left home we decided to make the most of our extra space!
