The house was clean, well-stocked, spacious, and located very near to the beach. The kids loved the game room and we all enjoyed the views from the large windows and deck. The beds were very comfortable.

Thanksgiving Stay at KnotACare

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A group of six of us (4 adults and 2 children) stayed at KnotACare over the Thanksgiving weekend. Overall, the house was excellent, and we had a wonderful stay. Its location was extremely close to the beach; in addition, there were good ocean views from the house. The house was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. The management staff was very responsive to the one issue we had (the gas fireplace did not work, because the gas had been turned off).

This location is perfect for everything! We shopped, we cooked, we strolled the beach multiple times per day & had a fire on Dillon Beach one night!! Leaving is so hard. Good stay overall
 many outlets in the house didn’t work or sparked if we tried to plug stuff in. The walk to beach was tough for our older family members with physical ailments so we ended up driving them down to the public area at Lawson’s landing, which cost 15 per car to park for the day.

Great Family Beach House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The feel of the beach house could be described as really "family comfortable". The layout is such that we never felt really tight or pressed for space, even with 9 people, there's a lot to love about the place. We cooked daily and 4 nights and the kitchen met our needs. Even though it's an older kitchen, they have it really well stocked with most all of the appliances you would need. One thing that was an inconvenience was that you could only plug in 1 device into a kitchen outlet (i.e. microwave or toaster, coffee maker, etc.) otherwise it will trip the circuit breaker. (workaround - we wound up making coffee in the bedroom) This may or may not be an easy fix to address on the electrical service panel.The beds and bedrooms were all considered comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with towels, as well as spa towels.We had an issue with one of the tall white deck chairs, as someone had tried to make a repair, but when my wife went to sit up into it, the whole thing collapsed. She weighs all of 110 lbs. and fortunately bailed before it folded. The chair should be tossed to avoid serious injury. It would be nice to have a hand held battery blower available to keep the decks tidy.We loved the location to the beach, with easy trails, which made it a breeze to head out for walks or a run. You can literally be at the beach in about 5-10 minutes. The views are pretty sweet from each of the decks as well.All in all, it's an older beach home, but really charming and comfortable in it's design, layout, amenities, and proximity to the beach. We would stay here again!

Very comfortable! Stocked kitchen. Views the of the ocean from most rooms in the house and beach access just down the street. Our family of 6 had ample room to hang out together in the living and dining room. Management very responsive when we had questions or any needs. Great beach just a 5 minute drive from the house.

Fantastic location with ocean views from various parts of the house. Well stocked kitchen, large space for relaxing and dining. Recommend better maintenance however. Mildew in bathrooms and dirty sofas should be addressed. Otherwise great place. Thank you!

My Family Loves It

Knot-A-Care until you return to your rental and find someone breaking into the rental.

It's a great house. Spacious. Great views. Steep access to beach. The beach is not accessible from the house if you have mobility or ambulatory issues. You will need to drive to the public beach access. Short, hilly walk to the little neighborhood restaurant. Quiet neighborhood. Our biggest issue was that we came home from a day of exploring to find a maintenance worker in the house without our knowledge. Not only were we not informed by the property management company that maintenance was necessary but the person broke into the window because they didn't have a key. When I asked further, they told me it was because we took the key from the lockbox and locked the door so they had no way of entering the property. We called and emailed with the property management company several times to better understand why a person employed with the property didn't have a key to enter the property. We received a 3% refund for our troubles. I still feel very dismissed about our safety concerns and their protocols for when it's necessary to inform the renters that some one will be entering the property. They did respond quickly and politely but they were clear that their policy is to allow people to enter the actual house without informing the people currently renting the property.

Excellent VRBO home!!!!

We have stayed at several VRBO homes and this is the best one yet. Check-in was easy, Home was very clean and in good repair, very well stocked and layout of home was perfect for our family.

Annual Girl's Trip

Year 4 in the books! Same location, feels like "home". Days spent on the beach, evenings on the decks, enjoying the company! Best getaway spot!! Already reserved for next year!! Can't wait to come back!!

Escaping the heat

Two families ranging in age from three years to 70 something escaped to the heat of the central Valley for a couple of days on the coast. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, sleeping areas and games for teenagers like ping-pong. The beach was the biggest attraction, only drawback was that there were missing screens on some windows and we were visited by wasps But the weather was delightful. The furniture and bathrooms were clean. The hot tub was cleaned before we And I appreciated the fact that we were notified that the hot tub water might not be heated enough because they had to drain it from the previous renters. That attention to detail will bring me back as a customer I

Great family getaway

This house was perfect for our family vacation at the beach. 4 adults 3 toddlers 2 kids. the location is absolutely stunning with amazing views of the sunset. Very quick walk to the beach. There’s a small general store in town with plenty to get you through your stay. Wish we could have stayed another night because we didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub or the bbq grill. Will definitely be back ! Only complaint is the bunk bed railing was broken so it made me a little nervous for my 4 year old to sleep up top, but overall highly recommend.

Mom’s memorial

We had a very nice time visiting with family and sharing memories of Mom. The hot tub relieved some stress. The family enjoyed exploring the beach and other areas around the shoreline. We saw jackrabbits and wild turkeys and deer. Thanks for a nice stay.
