Perfect location

We had a great time in the apartment of João. The location of the apartment is perfect to explore Porto. The apartment had everything we needed even with a small one-year old child.

Would highly recommend

We had a wonderful time in Porto (despite the rain!)The apartment was clean, well equipped and ideally located.Only thing I would say is, that the upstairs second bedroom has steep steps so not suitable for the elderly.

We were met by the owner and he graciously met us at the bus station. He showed us how everything was operated in the apartment. When we return, we will definately book with him again.

Location awesome. you should let people know climb to upstairs bedroom can be tricky. House could use a welcome guide with tips on home as well as hints on enjoying Porto.

Perfect location and lovely appointed appartment.

Joao was a wonderful and communicative host. This property is a short walk from many important sites We found free parking very near but did not use the car till we left Porto. The spiral is a bit smallbut yhis 60 something person navigated it.

Very pleasant experience

This is a very well appointed apartment in a convenient neighborhood. Spacious and comfortable for either a short or long stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our host met us at the train station and helped us get settled. João went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Being in my 60’s, the spiral staircase was a little daunting at first but it turned out to be easy.

Clean apartment, great location

The Happy 6 Apartment was very clean, bright, no clutter and it had all the needed amenities. The check in was smooth and our contact person was very nice and gave us recommendations for the area. The inner stairs are very steep, an elderly or unfit person would have difficulties to climb them but they are ok for younger people. Location is great, walking distance to everything of interest and to the restaurant and shopping area.

Great location in Porto

Manager was very helpful. Location was great. There was a steep set of stairs up to a loft. The kitchen was well set up. The negatives were, the beds the upstairs toilet stopped working at one point and we could have used some reading lamps and hooks. Also the place was clean except for the couch. were a bit hard

The flush problem was indeed real, but it was resolved efficiently before the next guest's arrival. As for the lamps, we provide compact ones that can be clipped onto the book itself. Great lication

Two bedroom and two bathroom apartment. Please note one bedroom and bathroom are upstairs up one of those narrow spiral staircases not for people who have mobility issues. The downstairs bedroom did not have its own a/c (was fine for our stay in May). We suggest better supplies (more dish towels, paper towels, and better quality toilet paper. Otherwise we enjoyed our visit.

Super Flat - highly recommended!

A lovely modern flat with everything needed for a happy stay. Joao met us at Bolhao underground station and took us to the flat, and could not have been more helpful and attentive. Conveniently close to a small supermarket in La Vie and the temporary old style market nearby, buying food is no problem, whilst having the metro just down the road makes travelling around the city easy. If you're coming for a week, and plan to use the metro and bus to get around, go to the Andante store at the airport where you can buy a travel card which you can top up as you go. They'll explain how it works and it really is useful. (On the day you travel back to the Airport you will need to buy a Zone 4 ticket for each person). Places to visit: The Casa da Musica for the architecture - stunning; down to the Doura and across the bridge(s);over to Villa Nova da Gaia;San Bento Station and more. If I were going to Porto again, I'd book this flat straightaway! Enjoy

Mooi, ruim en goede locatie

Het was een heerlijk, ruimtelijk appartement. De trap naar de tweede slaapkamer en badkamer is moeilijk te beklimmen, maar dat wisten we en was geen probleem voor ons. Prima, compleet keukentje. De locatie is geweldig. De slaapbank zag er wel wat minder schoon uit.

Goed gelegen en goed uitgerust apartement met 2 royale slaapkamers en badkamers. Let op (1) best een steile klim vanaf rue de santa catarina (2) 1 slaapkamer via steile trap te bereiken (koffer beneden laten).

Problème avec la chambre du 2e

L'accès au 2e étage est trop ardu et difficile a atteindre pour une personne âgée et surtout pour monter une valise (même de cabine). L'éclairage des deux salles de bain est inadéquat. Pour la cuisine il manque des torchons et des essuie-tout. Le divan est très taché et peu invitant. Je ne recommande pas cet appartement pour 2 couples.

Saubere Wohnung in guter Umgebung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Treppe nach oben ist allerdings nur für junge, nüchterne Menschen zu nutzen. Das Apartment ist ansonsten sauber, schön, könnte ein bisschen stimmungsvolles Licht gebrauchen. Die Agentur war sehr freundlich, der Check in hat hervorragend geklappt und es wurde für uns ein airport transport organisiert. Sehr zu empfehlen.

easy access from Porto Metro. Located at the top of the hill of old town, so if visiting for tourism, expect to walk down to the river's edge, but don't forget you have to walk up..... well appointed and very comfortable for two people. the 2nd bedroom and bath are located on the 2nd floor, but you have to navigate a steep spiral staircase to access.....but once your up, the room and bathroom are spacious. the landlord is extremely friendly, welcoming and available if need be.

Clean and well appointed apartment. The stairs to the loft were a little bit treacherous but no problem for our teenagers to negotiate. We really appreciated the flexibility around our arrival time given our lost luggage when we arrived. Good communication with the team

Freundlicher Empfang mit guter Erklärung aller Einrichtungen mit perfekter Mappe mit Bedienungsanleitungen. Alles auf Englisch. Nachteile: das Obergeschoß mit Doppelbett und ;Bad ist nur über eine extrem enge Wendeltreppe erreichbar und kann nicht gelüftet werden. Klimaanlage ist allerdings vorhanden. Wie anscheinend in Portugal üblich, gibt es auch hier nur starrte Lattenroste und extrem harte Matratzen. Für Ältere eher nicht geeignet,

Great place to stay in Porto

The property was as advertised and in a great location in Porto. We could walk to wherever we wanted to go. It does have some narrow, tight stairs to the upstairs bedroom but it does have its own bath and AC. We enjoyed our stay!
