Deer Run est un lieu de vacances prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© pour les petits groupes, les familles et les individus. SI vous ĂȘtes Ă  la recherche d'une superbe petite RÉUNION FAMILIALE, ce bĂątiment est Ă©galement DISPONIBLE À LOUER AVEC Lucy's Lodge # 1423858 (il peut accueillir 12/6 chambres)!

Il n'y a pas de WIFI et la réception cellulaire n'est pas terrible, mais c'est ce qui rend notre endroit si spécial !!

Si vous cherchez une escapade "sans technologie", nous sommes l'endroit pour vous!

En conduisant à la cabane isolée, vous devez emprunter une route de gravier et traverser un pùturage (le tout sur notre propriété privée). La plupart des petites voitures ne semblent avoir aucun problÚme, mais nous voulions vous faire savoir à l'avance à quoi vous attendre.

Au niveau principal se trouvent la cuisine, la salle Ă  manger et le salon (avec un canapĂ©-lit), la salle de bain principale et la chambre. Une laveuse / sĂ©cheuse compacte est Ă©galement situĂ©e au niveau principal. A l'Ă©tage se trouve la deuxiĂšme chambre avec 2 lits superposĂ©s et une salle de bain (pleine grandeur avec douche debout). Deer Run est conçu pour accueillir confortablement 6 personnes et peut accueillir 8 personnes maximum (moyennant un supplĂ©ment) si le canapĂ©-lit est utilisĂ©. Des siĂšges Ă  l'extĂ©rieur sont disponibles sur les porches avant et arriĂšre. Tous les draps et ustensiles de cuisine sont fournis. Deer Run a le chauffage central / air et TV satellite dans le salon et la chambre principale. Tout ce que vous devez apporter, c'est l'Ă©picerie, un maillot de bain et votre canne Ă  pĂȘche!

This was our second time at Deer Run Cabin at Stillwater Refuge! The first time was amazing and this time they had completely replaced the back deck, stairs on front and back and the pier. Fishing was awesome as always and the new lighting on the back deck really made the outdoors so inviting after the sun went down. We will be back! Highly recommend this place if you totally want to unplug from phone calls, text messages and just enjoy life!

Absolutely amazing. I can not describe this place with words, it is so much more than that. This is the most beautiful place i have ever rented. The property was so well maintained you can tell the family works really hard to keep this place looking the way it does. My wife and I stayed here for 5 days with are two boys age 6yr and 2 month. We were in town for my grandfather's 95th birthday.I really feel like the lord directed us to this place, as we kinda booked last min. And the first place we tried to book fell though. For our family it had been a hard couple of months, our newborn was 6 weeks early and we had been spending a lot of time at the nicu and traveling back and forth to the hospital. The lord knew this place was just what our family needed. My wife spent the mornings with our newborn and a cup coffee on the back deck over looking the lake as our 6yr old and I were out on the little boat catching bass. Just a perfect way to start the day. The first day we arrived we were not even sure if we were at the right cabin because it was so much more then we expected. We loved exploring around the property on the trails. We have already started to plan a trip back and we can not wait to spend more time here!

Amazing!!!

The place was beautiful, peaceful and do well appointed. We will be back. Our prayers will be going up that God will continue to bless Amy, Jesse and Stillwater Refuge. We highly recommend this is the place to go to disconnect from the daily routine and reconnect to God and family. If there was ten stars we would rate this best of the very best!

Wonderful get away!!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin so much! It was very clean and comfortable. We fished right off the dock just outside of the cabin. We caught 56 fish while we were there mostly large mouth bass and blue gill perch. We went out on the boat and fished some as well. It was very hot but a little rain shower cooled us off. There is super cool rope swing and sandy beach area, we didn’t swim though. The owners were very nice people and helpful. We will be going back!

Magical

Our family spent our third summer in a row here, and it was nothing short of magical! We have four kids ranging from ages 11 to 17, and everyone ejoyed thier time as usual! Zero cell phone service and God's beauty lead to amazing family time! From fishing, kyaking, rope swings, bonfires, and board games, its a place you can never forget, and can't wait to get back to! Our little piece of heaven will always be our favorite family trip!

A corner of Heaven

Our weekend getaway at this lakeside cabin was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the tranquil beauty of nature and the warm embrace of the cozy cabin. With excitement bubbling in the air, we wasted no time diving into our family adventure. Days were spent basking in the sunshine, swimming and splashing in the refreshing waters of the lake, and exploring the surrounding forests and trails. Evenings were filled with laughter and storytelling around the crackling fire pit, roasting marshmallows and marveling at the star-filled sky above. It was a weekend of pure joy, where time seemed to stand still, and we were able to truly connect with each other and with the wonders of the natural world. As we packed up to leave, our hearts were full of gratitude for the memories we had made and the special bond we shared. This lakeside cabin will forever hold a cherished place in our family's history, and we can't wait to return for more adventures in the future.

Great Fishing Weekend

I rented Deer Run with three friends for a guys fishing weekend. The cabin was perfect. It was super clean and right on the water. We were able to fish the whole weekend which is exactly what we were wanting to do. I contacted Amy with a few questions anbout the property and she was quick to respond and provided all the details we needed. We would definitely come back to this great property!

Secluded, relaxing stay

The property is truly remote, beautiful, and full of things to do! My bestie and I stayed here for some R&R away from our families. It was quiet, quaint, and an impressive piece of property. The bunkbeds upstairs are incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom has an amazing view of the lake. I’d love to bring my family of 5 here next time, when it’s warmer, to utilize the lake and kayaks. Thanks for a memorable place to stay Jesse!

Piece of heaven on earth.

This was a win for the whole family. The cabin was like something out of a movie along with the whole scenery. The beauty of this place was vast and it never seemed to end (no complaints) I can not wait to come back to this place. Next visit here, I’m going to explore everything as this place holds so much history and I’m so grateful they’re willing to share this beautiful place with their guest. Maybe you’ll get lucky and see it rain while sitting on a rocking chair, I did and it was amazing. If you’re looking for seclusion, you will NOT be disappointed.

My wife and I met while attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She was a native East Tennesseean that feel in love with Texas and me. Not long after being married, we realized how similar East Texas was to East Tennessee, so we moved. We have been at the ranch for almost 15 years; raising kids and livestock side by side.

Our original and current vision in building Deer Run was to provide a place that nourished the soul and brought healing to family, friends, and visitors alike. Year after year, we continue to fall in love with the beauty around us- abundant wildlife, excellent bird watching, open pasture land, rolling hills to numerous creeks and springs to explore. This peaceful, natural setting has made great family memories for us, especially picking the wild dewberries in late Spring.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Over the years, we have had many customers that repeatedly tell us how restful and quiet our place is. Many have said that it is like coming home; a place where they feel welcome. The cabin on the lake really is the best place on the ranch. You can sit in the rocking chair on the front porch and watch the sunrise while drinking coffee or end the day on the back porch with the sunset. Many kids have spent their days running and jumping off the little pier into the lake or catching perch the size of a dinner plate.

For all you hunters out there: Deer Run is located at Stillwater Refuge which is a hunting ranch and retreat center. Ask about hunts we have available during your stay!!
