Very clean, well appointed, and exactly as pictured. The facility is fabulous for families. We went to the indoor pool every day for the kids to play, and could walk to the playground by the lake. Will definitely look to stay it again next fall!

Wonderful stay in Abbey Springs

My family and I enjoyed a truly lovely trip. The property was beautiful. It was quiet and serene while also being close to so many of Lake Geneva’s wonderful attractions. My husband loved the golf course while my daughter and I had so much fun at the pool and beach. If you’re looking for a stay at a peaceful condo while also having the benefits of a resort, you cannot go wrong by staying here!

Weekend away at Abbey Springs

The condo was lovely. We were able to walk to the clubhouse to swim and play games. Right across the street is the Yacht Club and the Lakefront path, which we explored both mornings. The kitchen was super well equipped and the bedding was very comfortable. Just a couple small things that would have improved the stay: 1) a few throw blankets on the couch would have helped. We stayed in early May so it was cold in the morninga and evenings. 2) the deck needs some maintenance done. There is some wood rot. We would definitely stay again!

Abbey Springs Condo

This unit is so private, facing a wooded area. We were able to read and sip coffee in the rocking chairs in the morning, and listen to music with cocktails in the evening. It was the perfect size for our small family and the amenities (indoor/outdoor pool, beach, restaurants, etc.) were just a 5 minute walk away. Well stocked with necessities (and TVs!) and excellent communication with owner prior and after our stay.

Great Location on Lake Geneva, WI

Property was great size for me and my wife. Although extra bedroom would accommodate at least 2 or 3 children or two adults. Condo is located in woods setting with wild turkey seen on our porch and deer nearby. Also the indoor pool and hot tub were very nice amenity. A nice workout room and golf course if that is your thing. Lake Geneva proper is a ten-minute easy drive. This was our first trip to area and we would come back to this location in the future.

Amazing getaway

My family and I hadn’t been away in over 5 years. This was a much needed vacation. Scott is an absolutely amazing host. He was very responsive and helpful. We’ve never used VRBO before so I was hesitant. The home was just as described and cozy. The property is beautiful and everyone was kind and helpful. We will absolutely return. Thank you, Scott!!! Excellent location and amazing area!

Condo was exactly as described. This place is so close to the lake without being in the middle of all the hustle of everyday life. The outdoor entertaining area has ample seating, tons of trees, and even a tie out for your dog to run back and forth. The resort area is perfect for walks and they even have a pond with fishing access. Our only minor complaint, and this could definitely be specific to the area we were in being so heavily wooded, but there were a lot of cobwebs and dirt inside the condo and on the outdoor furniture. We used the porch swing and it was great for us.

Recent Stay

When we booked the property, it had a golf cart. The owner said the golf cart gave out at the end of last season and wasn’t replaced. Honestly, we wouldn’t have booked the property, if it didn’t have a golf cart because our friends were staying on the other end of the property. I wish we were alerted about the change or offered a discount to compensate for it, which would have allowed us to rent one from a third party, which was the owners suggestion. The property is in a convenient location. The property is also stocked with a lot of things but it does have an odor overall. The property manager was very responsive.

Cozy and Convenient

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Scott's place. My kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the Abbey Springs amenities and the proximity to the beach. Scott is a very responsive owner and provided everything you would need for a comfortable stay. That said there were some issues. The oven had not been cleaned in a long time and after a short pre-heat the entire unit filled with smoke. The pillows should all be replaced as well as they were very old and badly stained. We were also surprised to receive a $140.00 charge after checking out claiming that one of the box springs was broke? But overall for the reasonable price it's a nice place.

Didn’t stay a night

Everything was bad from the beginning. Sent pictures to owner when we arrived showing how dirty the condo was. Pulled back sheets on bed and noticed dog hair plus sheets didn’t appear to be clean. Called owner that night without much sympathy. Said he would send cleaning lady the next day. Didn’t do us any good that night. We left that night for other lodging and didn’t return for are other 2 nights we payed for. Pictures on vrbo looked mucbetter than in person.

Great vacation!

My husband, puppy and myself stayed at Steve Maddens unit. We were privately secluded in the back which was exactly what our family needed We are golfers and love fine dining but also have a dog so this is a perfect location for both worlds. Love the gate check ins so tiff raft stays out. Golf course and staff soooo accommodating Steve The owner was nothing but hospitable and wish we could have met them in person!! But next time for sure!! Thanks for everything and for a great stay in your adorable condo!! 2 bathrooms was great! Thanks for everything and we will def be back!!!!

Absolutely perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the unit and facilities wonderful. The beds were comfortable and we just loved the amazing porch with ample seating. We enjoyed the on-site restaurant and pool facilities. The private access to the lake across the street was also a bonus. We will return for sure!

Great stay in Abbey Springs - Madden's Escape

We had a wonderful time in Abbey Springs. The area is beautiful and we really appreciated the accommodations at Madden's place, the sizeable deck was a family favorite and the overall space just right for our family of 4, plus our dog! Scott was easy to work with and very responsive. We plan on returning.

Labor Day Weekend Stay

Had such a great stay at Scott's place in Abbey Springs. Condo was freshly cleaned prior to arrival and had all the neccessary pots and pans for making meals for our group over the weekend. Scott is super easy to get in contact with and responsive! We had such a great weekend at Scott's property.

Disappointing Stay

After viewing photos this property appeared to be on Lake Geneva. In fact it is across a busy street and in a forested area and a walk to the lake. The unit was a bit run down although the kitchen was recently refurbished and it was well stocked. TV didn’t work in bedroom. Although not the fault of the owner, there was massive construction going on on the road behind the condo which also made for a noisy experience. Overall a disappointing stay.

Great Location!

My grandchildren and I had a wonderful time! The condo is hidden away, yet close to all the amenities. It was great to have the extra half bath for 4 people! :-) The sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly for us. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of seating. The kids were happy to have a nice television in their bedroom with Netflix! We spent a lot of time on the beach and in the water. The weather was perfect. We had a terrific time!!
