Casa Calista est une charmante villa de 4 chambres et 3 salles de bains située dans un quartier résidentiel de Playa Blanca, à 15 minutes à pied. Un supermarché se trouve à 2 minutes à pied.
La villa est répartie sur 2 étages, au rez-de-chaussée, il y a 2 chambres à coucher, la chambre double principale, avec douche / WC, grandes portes-fenêtres donnant sur le jardin / la piscine, menant du hall au salon / salle à manger avec une grande table à manger et 8 chaises, un coin cuisine séparé.
La deuxième chambre est une chambre à deux lits avec douche / WC
A l'étage, la 2ème grande chambre double avec accès au balcon, la 4ème chambre est une chambre à lits jumeaux, ces chambres se partagent la salle de bains familiale avec une grande baignoire, une douche, un lavabo et des toilettes.
L'espace extérieur est fantastique, avec une grande piscine chauffée, une zone supplémentaire peu profonde idéale pour une piscine pour enfants, un grand jardin et une terrasse avec des chaises de table, des chaises longues, un barbecue et un coin salon.

We enjoyed our stay, great location if you have a car, with a parking space at the property, and supermarkets in walking distance. There are plenty of places to sit and relax both inside and outside in the sun or shade.

Firstly, the villa is not easy to find. First impression is that it is very dated.. Everywhere apart from the kitchen needs refurbishment. The kitchen is new and well stocked, but has an old fridge with broken shelves in the door so bottles have to go inside and gets full very quickly. The lounge only has seating for 4 people and the dining area similar. All three showers rooms need attention. Curtains are very thin, letting light in. Towels are small and of poor quality. Pool towels need to be hired! Lots of traffic noise. On plus side, Jodie is very helpful and quick to respond to problems.

This villa was perfect! Lots of space, inside and out. Plenty of loungers. Beautiful pool. And in the sun all day. The balcony was my fav spot - for morning coffee and then G&T at the end of the day! The kitchen had everything we needed. It was situated in a residential area, about 20 mins walk to Playa Blanca but this was perfect for us as we only had 6 nights and wanted to just chill by the pool. There’s a great little shop over the road which has managed to cram in practically everything you need! And for anything else, there’s a Lidl 15 mins walk away. This was a perfect place for us and would def come back! :)

Great Holiday

Villa was ideal for what we needed. The pool was very warm, we were glad we paid for pool heating. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Excellent property and pool.

The villa was spotlessly clean and well presented. It was ideal for the wife and I and this is our second visit. The pool is well heated and a pleasure to get into. Used it everyday. One small fault, the curtain in the main bedroom by the pool is too thin. A thicker curtain would be excellent. Other than that I recommend this villa.

Family holiday

Pleasant stay in this villa for a family holiday. Brett and Jodie were very quick to respond to a couple of queries we had on arrival. The pool was great and enough space for 7of us. Handy having downstairs bedrooms for my elderly mother who finds the stairs tricky. The seafront is a fair walk, but ok for us younger folk. We hired a mobility scooter for my mum and she could get there ok on that. Overall a pleasant stay.

Fab villa

The villa was great! the best part was the pool, we paid for it to be heated even in June/July and for us it was well worth it. Our 3 year old was in all day and we even had a late night swim around 8/9pm which was amazing. The baby pool section was just perfect allowing our wee one to gain confidence, by the end of the 2 weeks they were jumping in the big pol with no arm bands. Great size kitchen with all amenities. The only downside would be the bathrooms, they could do with updating and having more storage but really how much time do you spend in the bathroom. Overall a great villa and we wouldnt hesitate to return Jodi was amazing from booking right to during our stay.

Not a great Neighbourhood

For starters you’re next to a main road & also avoid if you’re a large group because the neighbour will be screaming, shouting and banging on the walls to you at any slight of noise! Completely ruined our experience. But overall the villa had everything we needed, lovely and clean! Just wish we wasn’t attached to a grinch!

It’s unfortunate that you had some experience with the neighbor, we all have to respect the residents on a community complex and we all want to enjoy our holidays too.. respect goes both ways. We do our best to inform all guests on residential communities that there are noise restrictions like any community area. We are pleased that the villa itself had everything you needed.

Outdoor space great size for a few people staying together

The outside space is great pool size fab Brilliant for a day around the pool for all guests no one on top of each other Villa feels a little tired could do with some love , exterior wise a few coloured pants and a whitewash would make all the difference You go abroad to spend time in the sun outside but on a bad weather day you could only seat 4 people on the two sofas combined could do with extra comfy seating The villa manager Jodie is excellent nothing is too much trouble and replies to any communication in seconds Although the bills did feel like some care was required the price we felt resembled that

First and foremost Jodie and Brett are fantastic hosts, we had a few issues whilst at the property and they were always on hand to answer the phone and resolve our problems.The pool is absolutely fantastic, really well proportioned and as a family of 4 we spent a lot of time in there. It was definitely worth getting it heated for our 10 day holiday and despite day time temperatures averaging 26 degrees we would not have spent half as much time in the pool had we not.It is quite well located. About a 15 minute walk to town, with a well stocked convenience shop located across the road. That said, I would strongly recommend hiring a car to get around the island and casino the supermarket. Lidl is a 3 minute drive away.The house itself is in need of a facelift, and some of the fittings are very worn, although we feel that aspect is reflected within the price. We overlooked the fact there is no air conditioning (our fault); plenty of fans are provided, although the sparse number of sockets in the bedrooms means having to choose between fans, lamps and mosquito deterrents.As others have said, there is a neighbour who is very sensitive to noise; we had seen this in the previous reviews and assumed they were left by groups of noisy adults, but the noise our family (we have two boys!!) definitely wound her up a lot. We tried to keep the noise down as much as possible but kids will be kids and family life can be chaotic sometimes!

Decent holiday let

Property was as described, clean condition, some aspects in need of upgrade eg bathrooms, patio door locks, secure safes. Very well equipped. BBQ and outside area good, lounge good. Neighbours take issues with the villa let, we were 4 adults no music, no excessive noise or parties yet they banged on the upstairs wall, the villa is in a residential area, all other persons we met were friendly. It is located next to a main road, 2 rooms were disturbed with the noise but there's no noise at the back when outside. It isn't really overlooked, it's a walled villa. There was an issue with the pool which was very promptly rectified within an hour a pool man visited. Pool is in need of a good clean and some renovation. Airport transfer could not find the villa, address given isn't precise, there are numerous streets named Montanna Roja. The villa as named is much easier to find on Google maps. It's a good 20 mins walk to seafront, supermarket across road is OK, very friendly staff. We would stay at this property again.

Lovely holiday but some issues

Villa is very dated and needs some work. Location is on main road which is extremely noisy especially weekends with cars racing up and down and blasting loud music. Locks around villa are hanging off doors but main door and side gate all secure. Neighbour bangs in wall for no reason if she thinks theres any noise at all. Dogs in both properties unfortunately bark a lot sadly. Villa is large and very spacious. Wifi is great. Safe in downstairs bedroom. Pool is great but needs painting and making a bit tidier. Downstairs room next to pool extremely warm and we had fan on constantly as no small windows to open, bar patio doors. En-suite needs ventilation but no windows unfortunately. The agents are exceptionally efficient, quick and fast to act on issues. Walk to Playa is a good 25 minutes, however taxi only €4 euros. We found a new path from road further down to harbour, but its a long walk for elder people. There is a small shop opposite caters for everything and the slightly further down road gigantic makro kind of shop. Outside BBQ but we didn’t use it.

Séjour agréable

Il s'agit d'une propriété bien entretenue avec une belle piscine avec une partie idéale peu profonde pour des petits enfants. Les 4 chambres sont spacieuses, les 3 salles d'eau sont bienvenues. Nous y avons séjourné durant 14 jours avec 4 adultes et 2 enfants. A noter aussi que Jodie, la propriétaire, s'inquiète vraiment du bien-être de ses hôtes. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété.

Schönes Haus mit kleinen Schwächen

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und der Pool ist super. Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern fünf Wochen dort. Der Service vor Ort war hervorragend - alle kleineren Mängel wurden sofort beseitigt. Das Haus könnte etwas mehr Liebe in Form einer Renovierung vertragen. Küchenausstattung ist sehr spartanisch. Die Kinder haben den Pool geliebt und wollten gar nicht mehr nach Hause. Rundum ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub. Das Klima ist im November genial. Einzig die aggressiven Mücken haben uns abends und nachts extrem geärgert. Insektengitter fehlen leider.
