We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful pink beach house. The home is spacious, and provided plenty of room for our entire family to spread out and relax comfortably. The kitchen had all the basics we needed, and we especially loved the gorgeous sunset views across the inlet. Being able to see the water from the front bedrooms and balcony was such a treat. The short walk to the beach, convenient outdoor shower, dog-friendly accommodations, and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors all added to the experience.Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by ongoing issues with the air conditioning. We had to have the HVAC company come out multiple times throughout our visit, requiring service calls on four of our seven days there. While the rental company was responsive and sent technicians each time, the repeated interruptions took away from valuable beach time and family time. We also experienced some internet connectivity issues during our stay.It did seem that the rental company was aware of the AC concerns before our arrival, so hopefully those issues can be fully resolved for future guests.Overall, we loved the house itself and if the air conditioning issues are permanently fixed, we would happily stay here again.

Great location, nice house, great stay but needs some fixes

Great location and very easy walk to one of two beach accesses. House is in good condition, decorated well and pretty clean. Enjoyed the little touches and was happy that most things were in great repair. Only issues we had where that the master toilet leaked and would refill every 10 minutes all day and all night. We had to shut off the water value and use another. Also the chandelier light over the kitchen table only had 1 working light out of 5. Upsides... working vent hood with light, new toaster oven, electric pressure cooker, lots of utensils and pots to cook a good meal. No under that house parking due to owner boat stored there but that wasn't a huge deal. Would stay here again happily :)

Nice getaway

We had a wonderful time at Katos Cove. The house is a nice size, close to the beach, and has a lovely sunset off the back porch. We were very pleased with our experience.

Nice place close to beach

We very much enjoyed the house and location. We did notice some insects in the kitchen primarily, thought the house was very clean.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

Kato's Cove was absolutely fantastic. The house was more than enough room for our group of 6, perfectly located with a 2 minute walk to the beach, and just an overall great property. Everything was clean, cozy, and it felt like home. We would definitely come back again to stay at Kato's Cove.

Pink Paradise

This well-appointed home was a wonderful setting for a family vacation. The living area was even prettier in person and the rooms were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the outside porch and the beach was a short walk away. The house had a lot of extras in the kitchen and for the beach which helped make this an ideal vacation.

Better than advertised...keep it a secret!

We have been to many NC & SC beaches over the years and stayed at many properties. Turning the corner to this property, we immediately felt at home. This was the best stay we have ever had! Clean, delightful beach cottage style with plenty of outdoor living (3 areas -- all clean & usable!), much space for us inside, so clean that even the storage room downstairs was clean, swept & orderly with many beach items available for use! The kitchen was so well stocked with cute dishes and helpful utensils that it was a joy to cook in! And the best part... views of the sound and slight views of the ocean from every room. Because of the amount of windows, the whole place felt light and airy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Topsail Beach at Surf City is beautiful with blue-green water and rolling waves. The walk to the beach access and the beach itself is minimal. The neighborhood this house is located in is quaint and quiet but not far from anything. The only reason I want to keep this is a secret is so that it will be available next time we want to rent!!! Highly recommended!!

Lovely home in great location

Short walk to beach; quiet neighborhood. Home is tidy and cozy. Property management is very responsive. Our family would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, clean, short walk to the beach, ocean views from front porch, well-stocked.

Great 3B/3B house in Surf City with short walk to the beach. The house was clean, well stocked in the kitchen and in the storage room with beach gear. You can see the ocean from the front porch and the sound from the back screened in porch. Smart TV for rainy beach days (we logged into NETFLIX a few times). An outdoor shower to wash off after the beach. Stairs as soon as you open the front door so not suitable for anyone challenged with stairs. Basketball goal in driveway. Fishing poles in storage room. Located at mile marker 6 in Sandy Ridge neighborhood. We will definitely rent again!
