We had a fantastic 3-week stay in this house near the hilltop town of Todi. It’s a big place with generous space for a big group, lots of bathrooms and three sitting rooms. There are ample dishes, saucepans and cutlery for big meals and comfortable places to sit outdoors. The views are stunning and the garden is magical at night when the trees are lit up. The housekeeper Mila is always around looking after the place and providing useful tips on pizza restaurants and bus timetables. All in all, everything was perfect.

We loved our stay. The villa was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for us to enjoy our time together as well as space to get away for a bit of private time.The situation is perfect, with wonderful views all around. It is a 10 minute drive from supermarkets and the gorgeous town of Todi.We were looked after very well. Mila responded quickly and efficiently.We requested a pasta making course and she organised one at a very reasonable cost in the villa which was excellent.The pool was great too.All in all a very happy stay.

Lovely villa

We had a very nice time in the beautiful villa. The view was stunning, the air-condition was a blessing in the hot weather. Mila was always very friendly and helpful.

Great place for a large group

We really loved the villa! We were there with all our family, 14 people, to celebrate our silver wedding. There were 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms over 2 floors, it was very well equipped, great aircon in every room (vital as it was 38 degrees outside). The pool was lovely if in need of updating, but that's a small gripe. The outside dining area was lovely with splendid views of the surrounding hills. All in all a fabulous place for our needs.

Beautiful location and view; garden and pool very well maintained . A/C brilliant, WiFi and hot water a little patchy. Lovely outdoor dining area: host very helpful. Unfortunately the local restaurant was shut but Todi had great restaurants and easy 15 min drive. We felt very well looked after .

Perfect house for a larger group

We were a group of 11 adults and 2 kids younger than 2 years of age and we had a marvellous stay in the house. All the 7 rooms were very comfortable and air-conditioned. The house was clean and the kitchens well-equipped. The house was situated beatifully. All in all a very positive experience. Thank you.

Beautiful villa in quiet place

Everything went well, the house big and comfortable for large groups and the host was always available. When we arrived check in was easy and we found the house clean, but had some problems with insects, which is quite normal considering we are in the countryside! The only problems we had were with WIFI that did not work, and sometimes the electricity having a low kw we had to go next door to reset...

Indeed it is quite normal to encounter insects in the countryside, 2022 was an exceptionally warm and dry summer so unfortunately there were more insects than normal. The WiFi has been updated so the connection should be better in 2023. Spectacular Todi

Couldn’t have asked for a better location or villa for our family trip to Umbria. We were a total of 9 with varying needs and our stay in Todi checked all the boxes. We loved exploring Todi (highly recommend dining at Enoteca Oberdan!), Assisi, and Civita. Some in our group also did a day trip to Rome via the Terri train station (approximately 35 minutes away). We enjoyed cooking in the well appointed kitchens and taking in the beautiful views of the Umbrian hills while we dined. Couldn’t have asked for a better time.

Amazing house for dream fortnight family vacation

A neat and comfortable house with everything you need for a lovely vacation. The pool was a blessing in the hot weather. The air conditioning was wonderful on the hottest days. Every bedroom had a bathroom. Linen was super clean and towels were changed weekly. Mila was the Most wonderful liaison, giving us wonderful tips and guidance. The kitchens and fridges were great for keeping all the groceries fresh. Would recommend this wonderful place for amazing local scenery and access to Todi. From 12 years old to 75 everyone loved our time at the Villa. 13 people were well accommodated. We dreaming of our return!most

Great property with a few challenges

The property is wonderful with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms, even 2 seperate kitchens and plenty of family room space. The highlight is the pool, that we thoroughly enjoyed, towels were sufficiently provided. The location is half an hour away from restaurants and/or supermarkets. The surrounding is quite hilly, but wonderful to enjoy. The 2 main issues we enocuntered was that there was a huge amount of ants outside of the house, and made it also inside the house, even though Mila helped a lot of trying to prevent that. We had daily trouble in nearly all the rooms due to the cracks in the floors and walls, where the insects came through. The second issue was the amounts of wasps (we had three nests on the property), which was suboptimal for little kids and baby for us.

This is a country farmhouse and unfortunately, there were some ants in the garden during your stay. As you mentioned Mila, the house manager was very pro active, however, as you did not want her to use any ant deterrents such as ant powder she was not able to get rid of the ants completely. After you left she was able to put down ant powder which made the ants go away. The wasps nests have been removed. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and I hope to see you return. Quite peaceful villa with stunning views

We recently stayed in this lovely villa in beautiful surroundings. We are a family of 13 with a small baby. The villa has 3 bedrooms upstairs with access only from outside steps and 4 bedrooms downstairs with 2 kitchens. The villa was very clean, we stayed for 2 weeks we had cleaners on the Wednesdays with change of towels and a clean the middle Saturday with a change of bedding and towels. The pool was large and a short walk downhill from the villa, it was clean and not deep at all very good for children. The pictures online do need updating as they do not reflect some of the furniture had changed, kitchen fridges had changed, the pictures do not show the villa has air conditioning. The tables outside we had to move from each patio to make a table large enough for all of us to eat around and there is not enough outside furniture to comfortably sit on in the evening we had to bring out the sofas in the lounge. The jacuzzi bath did not work which was a shame but it was so hot we just used the shower, which were all powerful with plenty of hot water for several showers being able to be on at the same time. The biggest problem we had was the electrics for such a large villa being able to accommodate a large family if we had the cooker on we could not put a hairdryer on or the kettle as they would blow and had to walk up the road to next doors gate to reset the trip, in the information book it stated that as with many villas in the area the electric has a limit of 3kw.....The cot for the baby was very good and bedding was provided we did have to ask for a better highchair as there was only a very old wooden one which was not particularly safe, but Laura did bring us a new one later that day.

Thank you for the detailed review of this beautiful and newly renovated house with maid service. It seems that the maid service was appreciated and the house manager responsive to requests. You are correct that we do need to update the pictures to reflect the new furniture and appliances as it has been newly renovated and upgraded. This villa is excellent value for a large group and we will ask the house manager to attend to the outside furniture and ensure there is a large table outside. The issue with the electricity is normal in Italy as highlighted in the information. There is little that can be done about it I’m afraid. Hairdryers in particular tend to make it trip if a number of other appliances are in use. We very much hope you enjoyed your stay and appreciate you feedback. It is important to us at Friends of Tuscany.

Wir hatten eine großartige Woche mit drei Familien und insgesamt acht Kindern. Das Haus und die Ausstattung sind super. Wir konnten mit 14 Personen gemütlich auf der Terrasse sitzen. Der Pool war perfekt und die sieben Badezimmer ein toller Luxus. Die Klimaanlagen sorgen auch bei heißen Tagen für eine angenehme Temperatur im Haus.Die Kommunikation war ebenfalls super!100% Weiterempfehlung!!!

Haus in Todi

Hallo. Leider war der Pool nicht vorbereitet. Erst nach 5 Tagen konnte der Pool benutzt werden. Auch Sonnenschirme gab es nicht sowie zu wenige Sonnenliegen am Pool. Auch die Bike's gab es nicht wie angeboten. Ansonsten sehr schönes Haus und echt nette Betreuerin die alles versucht hat die Mängel zu beheben.

Vielen Dank für Ihre 4-Sterne-Bewertung. Es tut mir leid, dass der Pool während Ihres Aufenthalts teilweise nicht zur Verfügung stand. In der Woche vor Ihrer Ankunft hatte es einen schrecklichen Sturm und sehr schlechtes Wetter gegeben, weshalb die Eigentümer die Unterkunft nicht öffnen konnten. Leider waren durch den Sturm auch Sonnenliegen und Stühle beschädigt worden, der Besitzer teilte mir mit, dass sie zusammen für 14 Personen reichten. Mittlerweile wurde jedoch alles ersetzt und es gibt von allem jeweils 1 Stück. Nochmals vielen Dank für Ihr Feedback.
