Sur la rive nord ensoleillĂ©e du lac Sutherland avec une vue imprenable sur le lac et situĂ© au centre pour accĂ©der Ă  tout ce que le parc national olympique et la pĂ©ninsule olympique ont Ă  offrir. (Le centre d'information touristique d'O.NP Ă  Lake Crescent est Ă  un peu plus de 6 km) Beaucoup de nos visiteurs passent leurs nuits ici, profitant de matins paisibles et de soirĂ©es relaxantes au bord du lac, puis prĂ©parent leurs dĂ©jeuners et profitent de courtes excursions d'une journĂ©e dans toute la pĂ©ninsule. Étalez vos cartes et explorez! Plages, montagnes, riviĂšres, forĂȘts tropicales, chutes d'eau, tous Ă  quelques minutes.
Le plan d'Ă©tage ouvert offre une vue sur le lac depuis presque tous les siĂšges. Propres et Ă©purĂ©s, les meubles confortables, les lits et les draps de qualitĂ© vous assureront de vous dĂ©tendre et de profiter de votre temps ici. La cuisine et les appareils Ă©lectromĂ©nagers sont trĂšs agrĂ©ables et approvisionnĂ©s avec les bases. Les barbecues au propane et au charbon sont propres et prĂȘts Ă  ĂȘtre grillĂ©s sur la terrasse du barbecue, et il y a des tables pour dĂźner Ă  l'intĂ©rieur et Ă  l'extĂ©rieur. AccÚs facile depuis l'autoroute 101 par une courte route pavée qui mÚne directement à la propriété. Il existe également un petit groupe de routes privées qui s'interconnectent et permettent de longues promenades sur une grande partie de la rive nord du lac.

Beautiful location and property. Minor issues like loud refrigerator noises and bathroom door that doesn't shut completely as well as leftover food in fridge and freezer. Still the location was amazing and we fully enjoyed the lake views.

This place is awesome. We chose to spend the entirety of our stay at the house and it did not disappoint. We swam, fished and just enjoyed the nature around us. The neighbors also came by and were real friendly . The house was clean and just the right size for our family.

nice cabin. good kitchen with most of the things you need. living room spacious. bedrooms are a bit small but you are supposed to be outside most of the time anyway. the dock (not sure whether this is the right term - see photos) is perfect. you look to the south, can launch your kayak (two are on-site: one single and one double) from the side and go into the lake swimming via the ladder. highway 101 is quite close but since it goes down a bit to the lake it doesnt bother so much since the cabin is in some kind of a sound shadow. from here you can easily explore many things close by, like the sol duc hot-springs, port angeles, hurricane ridge, marrymere falls, lake crescent and so on. highly recommended for visiting the northern part of olympic national park!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this wonderful spot. We are a family of 5 who came out to visit Olympic National Park. The hosts were very responsive, the cabin is beautiful, and the setting is amazing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Just a note for families, the rooms are all open at the ceiling, so sound carries at night if you have light sleepers.

This property was incredible. Pictures do not do the atmosphere justice. The outside living here is amazing
you want to be at the patio table, dock, Adirondack chairs or kayakers all the time to absorb the mountains, water and sunshine. I would stay here again with my wife and three kids anytime! Highly recommend!

We loved our time at the cottage! The hosts had everything we could possibly need and more. We loved going out and exploring ONP in the morning and coming back to the cottage in the afternoon to swim and relax. The view and outdoor space was absolutely awesome!

This home sits in a dream-like setting on a beautiful lake. Its peaceful and secluded, while being just a mile or so from the National Park. The owners were very communicative and we are so grateful they shared their home with us. I highly reccommend!

Great stay!

Perfect spot to come home to while visiting the park. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. The dock can’t be beat. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock until dark every night after the day of hiking.

This lake house is even more beautiful than the pictures- it exceeded our expectations! Alan and Wendy were very communicative and had great recommendations for places to see and eat in the area. Their best recommendation was to jump in and enjoy the lake - and we did every afternoon! It was also a perfect launch point for many amazing hikes. This was our favorite family vacation ever!

Perfect!!

This is a perfect location. House was super clean and had everything we needed. The lake was so nice. Do note that the two bedrooms are open at the top to the rest of the house, so you can hear every word said in every room other than the bathroom, which does have full walls. Not an issue for us. Everything was in such good order! Will defiantly recommend!

Incredible experience

The listing didn’t give it all that it could had. Perfect place for a small family. Lake was beautiful! Didn’t expect kayaks but took advantage. Make sure you pick up groceries prior to your arrival. They’re were many items you may have forgotten but need to count on preparing your meals which we like to do. Wish the bridge wasn’t out of commission but managed around it. Loved the Sol Duc Falls Trail the best. Mount Storm kicked our butts. Would love to come back to this perfect property.

A wonderful spot

We recently stayed here to explore the Olympic Peninsula. There were four of us - two couples- and we were very comfortable. The Murphy bed could also be used to sleep two more people. The location is as advertised. The main window looks west over a scenic lake. It’s a great spot to relax at the end of the day. The water was chilly in June but refreshing and crystal clear. The owners are wonderful. They are cummunicative and accommodated a change in our rental. The location is about 20 min from Port Angeles and the northern entrance to Olympic NP. Great spot.

Great views of the lake and mountains. Awesome cabin . Really enjoyed the lake . Jet skiing rental available. Cabin nice and cozy. Great views!! Comfortable. Could be more freshly cleaned.

Relaxing and lovely stay

We had a great time at this house. The house has a beautiful view. We used the kayaks and had a wonderful time kayaking. The house is very clean and is at a good distance from Hoh rainforest, Sol duc falls and Lake Sutherland. I requested the owners for a packnolay and they arranged it for me. They also answered my queries immediately and called me on the first day to make sure I was able to locate the house and get in. I would recommend this place if you are planning on visiting Olympic National park.

Hiking on Olympic Peninsula

We had a wonderful time at the Sutherland Lake House. The owners have made the house warm and Congo with all the amenities you would need. The view is gorgeous! We enjoyed eating outside at table and watching the sun go down on the chairs on the dock. We hiked in Hoh Rainforest and visited beaches. I would go back again!

We are Olympic Peninsula Natives. Our family has owned and enjoyed this property since 1981. It is a very special place to us and it is a great place to spend time. As the seasons change, so does the lake environment. Summers are fantastic for outdoor and watersports enthusiasts, and there is a modest amount of boating traffic. Winter, Spring and Fall seasons it remains very peaceful and the traffic on the lake is mostly all wildlife. Regardless of the season, this is a fantastic spot to enjoy all the beauty of the lake and the Olympic Peninsula.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We feel this is one of the best locations on the lake. It is easy to find, easy to drive to, and when you arrive, you will find that we are one of a very small number of properties on Lake Sutherland's North shore ( The sunny side) that offers drive- up access to the home and the lake without having to climb a large staircase. If you are considering another property we encourage you to consider this.
This location does not fall into the shadows. Many properties on Lake Sutherland only get direct sunlight for a limited time daily. The summer sun hits the dock at @ 10 AM and stays with us until sunset.

Central location. Short drive times to Olympic National Park attractions. Quick and easy access to Hwy 101 on good paved surfaces. Being able to drive right to the front door at lake level is a huge benefit.
