Excellent location with beautiful views of the mountains,Clematis house is spacious very generously appointed and very affordable .Beds were comfortable and rooms very nice.It was great being able to bring our small dog as the yard is well fenced.We can’t think of a better place to stay.

Highly recommend for anyone to stay. It was a lovely 30mins walk into town got to see so much wildlife. 2min walk to the pubBarry was great was answering any questions and provided much insight to our trip.Our staffy loved exploring and was perfectly safe in the backyard. We had mixed wet and dry days- but there was plenty to do at the house, in town, lookouts, walks and visiting neighbouring towns. The Halls Gap zoo was amazing- it’s for all agesIt was a home away from home, we will be back again for sure

house was very clean and cosy. the wood fire was an absolute lifesaver. The views from the house were beautiful with a nice view of the local wildlife and even ended with a couple kangaroos in the yard. the owners leave lots of things for guests to use. the only downfall was the lack of service which obviously is not the owners fault but the area the house is in.

Absolutely perfect place to stay. Beautiful beds, plenty of kitchen ware and everything clean.

3 generations (5 people) had an absolutely fantastic time - with our dogs - at the premises.It had all we needed, and lots of space so we were never crowded,Location was excellent, and visits by wildlife and birds was terrific.The garden is huge and gave the dogs plenty of room for running and chasing each other and playing with the young people.Kitchen was really well set out and had all the things needed for self catering and having a great time. (one small suggestion - having salt and pepper provided would be great).The 'coffee/tea bar' was very nice but could do with a light above it even a little strip LED movement activated.The last couple of comments should not be taken to be criticisms, just suggestions for improvement.Loved it and will probably return.

very relaxed location . views are amazing of the mountains and natural wildlife in the area . close to activities in the area . short walk to pub where the staff are friendly . the house was clean with plenty of amenities in the kitchen and tea and coffee supplied. dvd and games to play awesome place to kick back and relax
