This home is wide open and great to connect with the family. Lots of space to separate if people are looking to do different things! Has all of the amenities! Including great water pressure!

A great getaway

The perfect lake house! We took our canoe out fishing every morning and my kids swam in the lake. The house had everything we needed to cook, clean and fun games to play. Good communication and instructions made it an easy stay with a gorgeous lake view!

Amazing Lake House

What a beautiful house. The game room in the basement and hot tub were so welcomed after a day of fishing. The whole property is immaculate, we were all very impressed with this rental and with working with Peak Properties. Very professional.

Guys annual fishing retreat

We have been staying off and on at this home for over a decade. Our most recent trip was this past weekend (4-nights). The new owners have made some very nice renovations including a nicer waterfront approach (less trees to block the view of the water), a nice big lawn and fire pit facing the water. On the inside the lower level is now a rec room with pool table, wall toss bean bag game, and a variation of shuffle board called Skeetch - lots of fun, along with a Pac Man video arcade-stye game. Just outside (facing the water is a 4-person hot tub. Parking on the non-water side is much improved for more vehicle parking. We will stay here again for sure.

Great place to get away from it all!

If you're seeking a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle, this cabin is a perfect choice. The cabin is modern, spacious, beautifully decorated, and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has a Keurig machine, toaster, and every kitchen utensil, pot, pan, and dish you would ever need. The game room in the walk-out basement was super fun. Pool table, Skeech-Ball, bean bag toss, big TV. Walk out to a private, well-maintained hot tub for a relaxing soak. The cabin's location on the serene Lake Umbagog, with stunning mountain views, is truly idyllic. The lake was quiet and the sunsets were breathtaking. The property management team was exceptional. They are easily reachable by text and responded immediately to all of my messages. I could not have asked for better service from check-in to check-out. Thank you, Peak Properties of Maine!! A few things to note: While the cabin's remote location offers peace and quiet, it's important to plan ahead for grocery shopping as the nearest store is about 40 minutes away. Additionally, there's no cell phone service, but the Wi-Fi was reliable. Launching the kayaks was a bit tricky. There is no place to enter from the shore, so you need to lower them from the dock, which is a lot higher than the water level. (The water level may have been due to the extremely dry summer?) Overall, we had an unforgettable experience at this cabin and can't wait to return for another peaceful getaway!!

Simply Amazing!

We've been renting homes in New England for the past 30+ years. This has been the best! The kitchen is a dream, the lake is fabulous and the home was spacious and well equipped. Like/love: ~all the light switches are marked--it has always been a challenge figuring out which switches go to which lights--not here...well done ~amazing and well appointed kitchen--can't say that enough ~peaceful and quiet ~clean bathrooms ~great dining table--we are a big family and it's nice to have room for everyone. ~linens aplenty!!! Thanks. Wish: ~wish there had been outdoor deck seating (lounge chairs). We brought our own, but do wish there were a few on site. The screened dining area was lovely though. ~wish we could see the lake better from the house--also understand that there may be regulations prohibiting the downing of live trees and I'm not opposed to that. ~Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks again for an amazing retreat---we will be back!

What a getaway!

this place is beautiful! So well maintained. The rooms are huge. Everything you need is there. The water and water access was terrific. It was plenty of room for the 8 of us. We wanted for nothing! We actually left stuff behind and the staff worked with us to get it back, with no hassle at all!!! I can't recommend this place enough.!!!

Gorgeous lakeside getaway

This house is absolutely wonderful. It's huge and beautifully maintained. We really enjoyed staying here. The fireplace made things feel so cozy, and the views of Lake Umbagog were spectacular. Would definitely stay again!

Lakeside solitude cabin house

House was absolutely beautiful. Exactly what we were looking for.A great spot if you just want to enjoy the surroundings and the house and relax. We went The day after Thanksgiving and began stowing just as we arrived( perfect) had a nice fireplace ( only downside is you have to provide your own firewood) and we had a 5 hour drive and a packed car so would of never been able to bring any. Great amenities in the house otherwise,. Plan on bringing food ( which we were told) nearest store is 45 minutes out.. No good restaurants within an hour plus.Would recommend this house for rest and relaxation..

Early summer trip

My family of two young children and our in laws could not have loved our trip any more. This house will not disappoint! Immaculate and fully stocked with every household item you didn't know you needed! The lake is quiet, peaceful and filled with fish :) the proximity to grafton notch state park makes adding a hiking trip into your lake adventure easy. This house is remote which means packing the food you need ahead of time - as the nearest fully stocked grocery store is about 45 mins. We can't wait to visit again.

Great winter getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the Lake Umbagog house. The open-concept common area and kitchen on the first floor was perfect for family and kids to be able to hang out together without being on top of one another. We cooked and ate all our meals at the house and with the fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of storage we were easily able to fit all our week's provisions. Bedrooms were spacious and comfy for the week. It was really nice to have direct access outside through the basement so we could leave our snow gear there and not have to traipse through the house. The property itself was gorgeous. We ice-fished and walked out onto the Lake right from the house and found a hill for sledding. It was a perfect family retreat and we would stay there again!
