Our family of 5 had the perfect holiday at Swan House. Plenty of space inside and outside to lounge about in the winter sun and relax. Beautiful natural surroundings, easy walk to the beach/lake, and the well equipped kitchen were highlights.We will be back again.Thank you Suzy!!

We were a family group meeting up for our annual Xmas get together. Lots of bedrooms, and a great kitchen. The large outside area was perfect for meals. Plenty of room for spreading out inside. And the house is walking distance to the beach.

Great size, good location

Family reunion. Has everything you want and plenty of space. Bathrooms and Kitchen very nicely renovated, beds comfortable and fireplace and fire pit very good. Contact with owner very good also. Property is probably a little tired but it was perfect for what we needed. Nice and close to the beach.

Family Holiday

Every year the family try to take a weekend away from out busy lives and reconnect and enjoy each other's company. We had a lovely time at Swan House and the beach was a short walk. The big yard was good for ball games and kids running around.

Spacious family home

Large pup and kid friendly backyard, comfy beds, good block out blinds and plenty of hot water. The fire was lovely in winter. Suzy was great to communicate with.

Home away from home

Expectations were fully met. All our group agreed that we would rebook in the future Cockroach's were observed on both levels Top floor shower drain tended to flood a bit - may need to check drainage Late notification of the need to supply own firewood was a little perplexing. We did take and use portable heater BBQ was out of gas. Reimbursement was prompt

Lovely stay with a few rough edges

Quirky 80s/ modern mix. Fab new showers, though upstairs leaked constantly and downstairs needs attention to overhead fitting: hole in ceiling. Cubby house was derelict, but we did not need it. Cockroaches abound. British friends were horrified. Kitchen VERY impressive; well equipped. Garden is spacious and well maintained. All in all, a safe and warm house but needs some attention to make it special.

If you want a noisy holiday, in an uncomfortable house with a difficult house, this is not the place for you. The location gave us pleasant walks to the beach, the lake and just around the streets.The house had a large living area where two families could spread out reading, playing games, watching tv or just enjoying a chat without feeling on top of each other.The kitchen was not only well equipped, but had lovely crockery and serving platters. The two indoor bathrooms, plus an external laundry with toilet and shower were plenty for us all, with the added bonus of an outdoor shower for washing off after the beach (with hot water mind you!)The host was super helpful in all their correspondence. There was an unforeseen plumbing issue during our stay that the host responded swiftly to, sending a plumber to discretely rectify the issue. Expectations of guests are clear and all instructions were reasonable and useful.The indoor fireplace was wonderful! Make sure you source firewood in winter as it was the only heating, but upstairs was not too cold, esp with sun streaming through windows during the day.The extra smaller living area upstairs gave bonus space for our large group. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms have been upgraded.I really hope we’ll go back before long!

A great space to relax

The property provided everything a group of ten could need to enjoy the beaches and surrounds of Cudmirrah. Very thankful for the amazing kitchen space and the huge backyard. Made it so easy to enjoy our time there.

Wonderful weekend

We really enjoyed our stay. Property is very comfortable and very well equipped, everything is provided to ensure a relaxed stay, kitchen was very well equipped, and lots of games and toys for the children. Kids and dogs loved the backyard which was very safe but huge and good for exploring and ball games. House was very close to a beautiful beach and when it got windy we went to the lake, only a few minutes walk. Cudmirrah is like being transported back in time in the best possible ways, all the good things from my childhood holidays to share with the newest generation.

A Hamburger just isn’t the same without Pickles!

We had an amazing stay at the Swan House! The house is so cool and amazing. My twin 5 year olds were so excited with the bunk beds, the upstairs playroom and they were entertained all week by the games and DVD collection. My husband and I relaxed by the outdoor fire sipping on wine and roasting marshmallows while the indoor fire kept us warm at night. The location is a few minutes walk to Cudmirrah beach where we had the whole beach to ourselves and checked out the awesome rock pools. Suzy is a great host. Thank you so much for having us we adore your house and will definitely be back!

Great little winter break by the beach

Our family had a great stay at this property. Plenty of space in the backyard for the kids to run around and kick a ball and a big house to explore. There were loads of activities for them in the house including plenty of books, DVD’s and games (plus a huge container of LEGO)! The kitchen was well stocked and we really enjoyed the wood fire heater at night. Close walk to the lake and beach. An overall great stay.

Great holiday house

Suzy is very nice and accomodating.. The house is a short walk to Cudmirrah beach and easy drive to Sussex where we shop for supplies. We enjoyed using the bbq and kitchen as we enjoy cooking and eating! We’ll definitely come back!
