Such a beautiful place to stay with comfortable beds and air conditioning. Right in town but still so quiet for sleep. Just perfect. Thanks for having us!

Great for families

Right in the centre of town, within walking distance of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Spacious apartment with giant balcony that’s great for people watching. Friendly and accommodating host.

John was a pleasure to communicate with prior to our arrival. He made us feel welcome and had some good tips on local dining. The property was perfect for our needs and was very comfortable. It has a lovely feeling and is in a great location. We really enjoyed our time and would happily stay again

Staying at the Potters Wharehouse was really nice , it had a great feeling and was clean and comfortable and within walking distance of everything Bellingen has to offer, would definitely recommend it a stay there!

Bellingen delight

So handy to the delightful Bellingen village.The Potters Warehouse is a comfortable, spacious stay. There are good kitchen facilities. Great air conditioning and comfortable beds. Just be aware of the 12 steps required to enter the property. Multiple lounging areas. A little bit quirky, in keeping with its artistic theme.

Bellingen in June

A lovely building right on the street but very solid so didn’t notice any noise. Lovely light comes through at sunrise and John is an absolute treasure. High ceilings, full of character. Verandah is a great space, beautiful views and kitchen with the big table is an easy space to be in.

Girls weekend away

We had a Long weekend stay with girlfriends for the Bellingen Readers and Writers Festival and the Potters Warehouse was the perfect accommodation for us. Eclectic and character filled, with warm comfy beds and 2 balconies to choose from to relax in the sun. So close to everything in town, that we didn't have to use our car all weekend. Surprisingly quiet being in the Main Street. The onsite parking is safe and convenient. John was the prefect host, warm, friendly, helpful and available...we would definitely come back and stay, next time we come to Bellingen!

Location location in true Bellingen style

An amazing stay in this fantastic space, and there is so much space! Super comfy beds with quality bedding in two large king size bedrooms. Full kitchen, although all the cafes and restaurants are on your door step so you are spoilt for choice. Inside there are comfy sofas and televisions to chill, but the massive verandah with sofas right on the Main Street is a must to watch the eclectic world of Bellingen go by. Great nights sleep, absolutely no noise although in the centre of town. I think the passion, soul and creativity of the owners shine through in the Potters Studio, and we cannot wait to return. It's super clean, it's Bellingen quirky and in the heart of town , it's a 10/10 for me

It would be hard to categorise this property. Quirky is a good description. The two bedrooms are absolutely grand, with the most wonderful windows. The main bedroom had a queen and a king bed, as well as a single bed. The second bedroom had a queen bed. If you are looking for 'cookie cutter' modern, this is not it. We absolutely loved the place, and would love to stay there again. There was heaps of room inside, with two very large decks - front and back.The property is within close walking distance of cafe's and shops in the town.We were a group of three adults visiting Bellingen for a 90th birthday celebration. This property is very much in keeping with the architecture and vibe of the town.

Some Pros and Cons

Pros: The accommodation was charming, clean and well appointed and convenient to Bellingen village.. The rear verandah is a lovely warm spot in the morning sun. The beds were comfy with fresh linen and air conditioned. Cons: The steep slightly rickety stairs to enter could be difficult for some, and the number of irregular stairs inside the house saw me trip and fall (no injury fortunately) with slippery mats on the polished floor, some milk for tea and coffee would have been good. I slightly overpaid on the original booking and trying to get a small refund has been unpleasant.

Thank you Geoff I’m glad you liked the potters warehouse . And had a good stay . No one else has had a problem with the stairs or the two steps inside. All are legal and like with any steps we need to be careful . Especially as we get older. ☺️l know this myself as I’m getting older. 😂thank you for the comment on mat and I will replace with a rubber backed one asap there is coffee tea sugar and other basic cooking things . Provided . Not sure what you are saying . All the best to you
