The walls were really dirty. Inside the main bedroom was missing curtains and people walking past in the hallway could look right in. The bed in the master was a king frame but it was a queen bed spun around to fit the frame so if you laid down facing the Tv it was too short. We flew in from CO and arrived about 15 minutes early I had to call several times to get a person and asked if we could possibly go in 10minutes early no one was cleaning and was told it would cost The location was fine and the beach beautiful but the actual unit was a bit rundown

Over all this is an average place to stay, drop ceilings throughout so majority of the lights are lamps, the kitchen table looks great but not something you want to sit on for more than a few minutes. The air conditioning doesn’t flow very well through the rooms, you get hot at night. On the upside the condo is on the smaller size and not crowded at all , the trolley stop is in front of the condo.

Hi Krista, thank you for sharing your honest thoughts about your stay. We are sorry the space felt just average and that the lighting and the kitchen seating did not work as well as they should. Your notes about the drop ceilings, the lamp lighting, and the kitchen table are really helpful, and we are already looking at how to make the unit feel brighter and more comfortable. We would be grateful for the chance to host you again and to leave you with a much better impression.

This place was listed for rent and it’s under renovation. It should have never been listed in the first place. Glad that someone called me while going down there and they had to cancel. It’s been a big hassle sadly.

BE AWARE NO WASHER AND DRYER INSIDE UNIT…. The listing did not specify that there was not an and dryer inside the unit. Nor did it mention that there was a laundry mat on bottom floor that required coins to wash and dry. 3 to wash and 3 to dry per load. Also there was a cigarette butt on the balcony upon arrival. There was an electrical outlet and electrical power switch without a face cover. That could be dangerous when renting to someone and especially with children. We did love the location and would consider another unit in this condominium.

Great spot

This was our first time staying here. Unit was nice. Needs a little updating but clean and as advertised. Love that the condo is smaller and a short boardwalk to the beach. Not overly kid friendly due to layout but would absolutely stay here again.

Weekend trip

The location of the property was great. We did a quick weekend trip with family. The bedroom set up was perfect for our family and everything was clean and tidy. My only complaint of this property was that there was no latch on the front door, making it extremely easy for my 1 year old to walk out of the condo. Other than that, our stay was very pleasant!

We had been notified that there would be construction going on during our stay, and we were ok with that. But we weren’t aware that there was work going on in the actual unit we were staying in. There was unfinished painting around the balcony door, no decorations on any of the walls (they were all in the bedroom closet). Dust was everywhere! (It appeared that is was dust from sheet rock being sanded) We had to wipe down night stands and tables and counters. We had to wash any dishes before we used them, because they were covered in dust. The shower head in the guest bathroom was broken. On top of the uncleanliness of our unit, they were dredging the beach right in front of our condo and we had to go to the beach elsewhere. I understand this was state mandated, but we could have at lease been made aware of this before we arrived. We even extended our stay to have an extra beach day and we couldn’t even use the beach at our condo. This was our 3rd year to stay at San Souci, and by far the most disappointing.

Nice but needs some changes.

Nice place, lovely view of Gulf. BUT dirty tile floors need deep cleaning. Bottom of our socks and feet were black each and every day including first day. Couches stained, need deep cleaning. Several of the wall plugs are not secure to wall. The dining room table/chairs are a beautiful work of art but very uncomfortable to sit in.

The furniture needs upgrading. Dining set was difficult to pull out and use. Several lamps were broken. They were put back together but were not sturdy. The lighting in the second bathroom was useless. Couldn’t see to put in contacts. Would not rent this unit again

Dirty Dirty Dirty

This is the dirtiest condo we have ever stayed in. Cobwebs above all kitchen cabinets, mold on the shower curtain and filthy floors. If you don't wear shoes your feet/socks will be black. Now that I'm reading other reviews I see this has been a consistent theme with this unit. Don't rent it, trust me you will be sorry. Honestly the entire building has gotten really run down that last several years. We will be renting on the other end of the island from now on.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Tara. We're sorry to hear that your stay did not meet our expectations for cleanliness. We take this feedback seriously, and our core values are not a reflection of this one condo. We would have loved the opportunity to address these concerns during your stay; however, without being notified we were unable. We understand that a vacation should be relaxing and comfortable, and it sounds like your stay did not meet those standards. Since your stay, the floors and fake plant have been deep cleaned and the liner/curtain has been replaced. We appreciate your input and hope you'll consider giving us another chance in the future. We strive to enhance the quality of our vacation rentals and are more than open to hearing any additional feedback you might have to offer. Safe travels on your next adventure, and we hope to see you again! Sunny Regards, Pensacola Beach Properties
