We had a lovely stay in Darjeeling. The house was great for our annual Book Club weekend away. It’s a beautiful house with a gorgeous garden. It was well stocked with everything we needed. We hope to be back next year.

Lovely historic house with beautiful, evocative wooden panelling throughout much of the interiors, matched by all mod cons, especially in the amazing kitchen. Excellent place for a group of several friends to catch up over the October long weekend. The beautiful garden was in full flower at that time of year, too: an added bonus, with century-old trees and flowering rhododendrons and azaleas looking spectacular. Zero noise from neighbours or traffic, absolute privacy. Definitely recommended!

Beautiful home and gardens. Sixth bedroom on back veranda not suitable for adults. No heating etc. twin room cramped no storage at all.Overall a beautiful, comfortable well equiped property

The property had a very well appointed kitchen with ample cutlery and crockery. The grounds were beautiful. From the pictures the impression was of a larger lounge/living area. Wonderful fire which created a warm, cozy atmosphere. One bedroom contained 2 bunk beds one of which had an electric blanket, the bunk bed without an electric blanket was extremely cold (we were there in winter).To summarize the property catered for 12 people which was the size of our party but only just catered for this amount of people due mainly to the size of the living/lounge room.The host was very accessible and easy to deal with. Would we stay there again, yes but max party size of 10 people.

Short Stay at Leura

A very enjoyable stay .House was terrific .Kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils , glassware ,pots pans etc .Beds were comfy lovely grounds . Our only negative was a step at the back door area was quite uneven and caused our grandaughter to slip ,not once but twice .She had a sore rib area from falling .Step needs to be replaced

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful holiday house. The home was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was fantastic, and the whole property had a lovely, welcoming feel. Rob was also a wonderful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Fantastic home full of charm, space, and an amazing modern kitchen with everything you could need. Beautifully warm with central heating and a fireplace and the hot tub after a day out walking was such a treat. Highly recommend!!! This is an outstanding property that has retained its practical appeal though over 100 years old. The important areas, especially the kitchen, bathrooms and heating have been updated and the classic features well maintained.

Spacious and Cosy Getaway

Our friends were visiting from far and wide, and we wanted to have a place where we could catch up, play board games, and cook. We really enjoyed the common spaces, fireplace, and large kitchen to cook for the weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The only challenge was trying to optimise heating during the night as it was varying temperatures in each room. I would recommend providing scrubbers for cleaning as we sometimes struggled to clean some of the larger pots and pans as not all of them fit in the dishwasher. Great location and close to amenities. We were 5-10mins away from tennis, and bushwalking!

Perfect mountains retreat

Beautiful house with plenty of room. In great condition and very clean. House had most things that were needed. Gorgeous deck on side of house. Huge! Lovely gardens and property. Our only disappointment was the beds. They were terrible and we needed up dragging our mattress onto the floor to get a better sleep. All in all, a great property and lots of space.

Family mountain holiday

As a 3 generation family who have stayed in many Blue Mountain homes this one has ticked all the required bases really well. A large well equipped kitchen with a huge island bench made for easy breakfasts. A TV room where the kids could hang out while adults enjoyed quiet chats. The enormous deck has a ?12 seat table with a great BBQ. 3 bathrooms made life easy in the mornings It was 48 Degrees when we arrived but the house was amazingly cool. And all beds were very comfortable. Prompt communication from Ali was great. Will be looking to book again.
