Extraordinaire grange rénovée des années 1840 avec piscine et intimité

L'une des plus belles propriétés de la région, cette grange convertie unique en son genre est idéalement située entre Woodstock et la Phénicie, à 2 heures au nord de New York. Avec quatre chambres et trois salles de bain complètes, la maison peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes.

L'ancien et le nouveau convergent harmonieusement dans la conception de cette maison.
Le plan d'étage spacieux et ouvert au premier étage comprend une grande salle avec des plafonds de 29 pieds et des lustres. Admirez les poutres du 19e siècle exposées et taillées à la main ... regardez un film sur la grande télévision à écran plat ... installez-vous confortablement devant la gigantesque cheminée en pierre bleue.
Décoré avec goût avec des meubles raffinés, anciens et modernes et des œuvres d'art originales dans toute cette maison évoque un sentiment d'appartenance.

La cuisine du chef entièrement équipée comprend une cuisinière professionnelle Viking, des fours doubles, un lave-vaisselle, un réfrigérateur / congélateur en acier inoxydable et un îlot de cuisine somptueux avec un dessus en pierre ollaire. Une table de salle à manger en acajou surdimensionnée peut accueillir 10 personnes.

Le terrain entièrement privé est magnifiquement aménagé avec des arbres matures, des arbustes ornementaux et des fleurs vivaces. Il y a de nombreux espaces de divertissement en plein air. Dînez en plein air sur le pont ou dans le spacieux porche grillagé. Détendez-vous sur une chaise longue au bord de la piscine entourée de jardins bien entretenus. Faites un plongeon dans la piscine chauffée.

Beautiful stay

Highly recommend this property. The house and grounds are gorgeous and location is perfect - about a 10 minute drive into the town of woodstock (it might actually be less - there were just some road closures during our stay). Worth every penny!

Very special place

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend here. We’ve stayed in many places and this was on of the coolest and best. Amazing great room and fireplace. Wonderful open kitchen with everything you could need. Can’t wait to come back.

Fabulous Retreat

We were fortunate to find this incredible get away so close to New York City but with a feeling of being on our own private space. The grounds and house were incredibly well maintained with new, comfortable bedding and linens and an exceptionally well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to cook anything we had in mind. Liz and Steve were responsive to every question or request we had - in fact, we've rented many houses and we can say that this was among the best rental experiences we've had!

Wonderful retreat

This was the fourth house that we stayed at on VRBO. It was perhaps one of the best. It was exactly what we needed. A beautiful, peaceful retreat close to a small town. The heated pool was awesome. The size of the kitchen was perfect for cooking big meals --- everyone had space to pitch in. The size of the den area was great for everyone to relax in. The master bedroom area was gorgeous. We loved all the details of the stained glass windows and the rustic feel of the house. Would definitely love to come back for another visit.

Incredible House

This house is really as incredible as it looks in the photos and I highly recommend it. We loved the quirky character and unique details of the conversion. It feels like a mountain lodge but also very luxurious at the same time...which is exactly what we were looking for. We also really enjoyed the grounds and walking along the lovely stream that runs alongside the property. The location is great, though it can be a little tricky to find the house! (A sign/house number on the road would help visitors locate it.) Overall, we LOVED it and will definitely be back!

Perfect Summer Escape

We had the most lovely time at this perfectly appointed home. It was clean and well stocked (anything one might need for a short or long stay). The pool, outdoor space and grounds were tops! You want every day to be a pool day here. Hiking is just beyond the pool. If you love architecture, home decor, great spaces, this place for you. The discovery of perfect, interesting choices and appointments were endless. We didn’t need much help on the ground, but has the sense the caretakers would have quickly responded to any inquiry. Simply amazing!

The house was gorgeous. Unique and beautiful. The kitchen was a dream and the sitting areas were cozy and comfortable. Everything from the beds to the bathrooms was stellar. Truly, the photos don't do justice to this wonderful house. We escaped to upstate NY for a weekend retreat for our company. There were four of us, and it worked out perfectly. We took a tranquil little hike up the hill in the backyard along the stream and amongst the deer. Its also a short 10 minute drive to charming downtown Woodstock. Plus, the property manager Liz was so accommodating and helpful. She took photographs for us of all the spices in the kitchen so we knew what we didn't have to buy, and she made sure that all the bathrooms had soaps and shampoos and plenty of fresh towels. I highly, highly recommend!

Perfect Stay in the Catskills

The home is lovely and very tastefully decorated. It is set back off the road in its own private world and surrounded by lots of green lawn and open space. The pool is wonderful and well heated so you can spend lots of time in the pool without getting cold. Our grandkids loved it. A peaceful stream runs through the property. The home is a large converted barn providing lots of interesting architectural features. We loved the big family kitchen that was well supplied with everything. The barbecue outside is very nice. There was a fire pit to make s'mores. The property manager is fabulous and throughly showed us everything about the property and was available if we needed anything.

Magical Summer Escape

Wonderful Woodstock Retreat

The house was so impressive. Well stocked with everything you need. Beautiful and cozy. The fireplace (and endless wood) were our favorite. And so convenient to both Woodstock and Phoenicia - two of my favorite Catskills towns. We spent several days skiing at Hunter Mountain and returning to the house for Apres Ski was the highlight. We made family meals each night in the kitchen which was very well stocked w/ everything you need - even spices!
