Loved the place. The location was perfection! So quiet and lovely. The decor was so cute and cozy. Albert was an excellent host. I have been waiting to do the causeway for 2 years and this was the perfect location for me.The access to the beach was so nice!

This cottage is so gorgeously decorated and was a perfectly located and super comfortable stay for our Burlington getaway. The cottage is easy to walk to the water, which was beautiful. Getting there was easy. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and our host Albert was clear and easy to communicate with. We loved this stay and would love to visit again some time!

We really enjoyed the proximity to the causeway and Burlington very much. The cottage was an eclectic decor which was interesting and fun. The part that concerned us a bit was that the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and shower head, and no ventilation in the bathroom. We had to open the window to get the air to vent. Which was on the front lawn. We ran out of toilet paper because there was one roll. The Coffee was available but no sugar or creamer. The powder would have been fine. Also the lawn could have been mowed because with overgrowth comes ticks and such. We the area and outdoors very much.

The bathroom is equipped with a window for ventilation, and after receiving your comments we inspected and cleaned the areas you mentioned to ensure everything is in good condition for future guests. We're sorry that you ran short of toilet paper during your stay. Additional supplies are available upon request, and I wish I had known during your visit, as I would have been happy to bring more over right away. Regarding the lawn, we experienced an unusually rainy stretch of weather during that period, which made it difficult to maintain our normal mowing schedule. We do our best to keep the property well maintained despite changing weather conditions. Thank you again for your feedback. For winter season, we suggest one or two space heaters for bedrooms/bathroom. The older Monitor-styleheater is very noisy, had to turn it off to sleep at night.Front steps were icy, no salt or sand available.No coffee or tea.

Interesting, House directions detail not to adjust the heat as we live close by and will do it to suite your needs. My contact information was in the kitchen yet you did not contact me with your complaints. Coffee, Starbuck’s Breakfast blend was in the kitchen cabinet with Tea. Heater may have seemed loud for you as it is not in your home but this is a small cottage and the heater is forced hot air and the fan can be herd but it’s not loud. You wanted space heaters which we could have brought over but instead you turned the heat off. There was no snow on the steps.

Great location, needs a good scrub

The location is excellent, especially if you are biking in the area. For 2 people the house size is perfect. The decor is a bit eclectic. The owner was very responsive.

Wonderful location

This is a wonderful location near the Causeway and access to the lake while very quiet neighborhood. The property was clean and ready for use. The smaller bedroom has an awkward access to the bathroom limiting privacy. Great for a couple.

Great relaxation place

I enjoyed my stay and it was really nice place to relax and enjoy nature, though there was no internet that may be one inconvenience as the mobile service isn't strong in the area It is a very lovely place and carefully maintain, Highly Recommend it!

Nice location, smoke odor

Unique and eclectic property that the owner has clearly put a lot of thought into and located in a great place. Unfortunately, despite it being listed as non-smoking clearly past occupants had used it for this and the unit smelled, smoke odor permeated everything.

False claim, the prior tenant was vetted by my Property Management company and it was determined they were an honest nonsmoking couple. I would add the primary tenant is an avid runner and his girlfriend is similarly health conscious. They were here for a few months. I contacted the prior tenant. This is his response, “No, neither is us smoked Albert” Smoking claim may have come from the fact that the cottage was just professionally cleaned for over 3 hours. This is what my cleaner replied: “I did find a couple lighters but that could have been for anything candles etc… I did not see any signs of ashes or cigarettes.” Tenant did leave behind a large assortment of unused candles. Ethan, you did not speak of this when I met you at the cottage, please re-think this and make a correction as their never has been a smoker in this cottage.
