Perfect for a quiet and restful getaway!

Wonderful place for our family to relax and enjoy the peaceful view off the patio! Watching the deer and enjoying the short walks to the lake with the dogs was a perfect way to end our day after spending time in Austin and the surrounding small towns.

Great getaway!

We had beautiful views of lakes, everything seemed pretty clean. The only thing is if you plan to make dinner…bring your own knives as there was only steak knives available. Great stay and enjoyed it nonetheless! Would do it again!

Family Vacation!

The house really felt cozy and felt like home to us. It just needed to be dusted a little there was some pet hair on blankets pillows and beds. The lake was a far walk because it was dried out.. Maybe owner can put that in ad, to have the renters aware of low water during droughts. Pool was far too..we walked a mile to get to it, but was beautiful pool. Other than that we loved our stay great home beautiful scenery! Loved how the deers came up to us we fed them. Love the reading nook so cute. House was fully equipped with pretty much everything. Thank you for letting us stay in your home as we made memories❤️

Awesome place to relax!

My siblings and I take at least one trip a year to relax and reconnect. We've stayed in this complex before but found this particular unit to be much nicer. It is well appointed with very comfortable beds and seating areas. The highlight of our day was to feed and watch the deer. We bought some deer corn at the local grocery store and it was well worth the show. I love that all of the TVs had Roku even though I always travel with my own. Watching movies was easy with no need to connect other devices up. We cooked most of our meals while there. The kitchen had nice cookware and was well stocked with the basics like salt and pepper, etc. We also spent a couple days at the pool and ate at the grill at the Marina. Pool was clean and recently redone; the food at the grill was excellent. We will be back!

Terrible! Stay away!

I arrived to the property in the early evening to find multiple roaches around the house. I got a headache as soon as I walked in - it smelled moldy in every room. I couldn’t stay in a house filled with roaches running around. I contacted the propriety manager and VBRO for assistance. The property manager didn’t do anything and I had to look for another place for our family. Worst experience renting a house!!

From the owner: "Monica, we are sorry you didn't have a good experience at our house. - We always encourage guests to reach out to their 'Guest Contact' if any issues arise so that we can fix them quickly so that you can enjoy your stay. The guests arrived that evening at 11:36. No contact was made that evening, via text or phone call with the issues. We did, however, receive a text at 4:43 pm the following day. - We had no prior recollection of pests in the home but we can say, the townhouses had been exterminated just recently. We understand. how offputting this can be. We will be looking further into this matter to see what is going on. - The smell was not from the townhouse but instead may have been from the rain that we had been receiving that entire week/weekend. - Priscilla and I spoke and I sent pictures from the guest before she went on vacation. We greatly appreciate your feedback as we work to rectify these issues."

It has window unit air in all bedrooms that don’t work well. Most of the rooms/baths dirty

The front door is so stuck it took 2 of us to wrench open. My 87 yr old mother touched her bathroom cabinet and it fell off. Decorations were shabby in bdrms. No curtains on windows in 2 bdrms. Can’t recommend.. It seemed to not have been cleaned well in quite awhile. Can’t recommend, won’t go back, actually left a day early because it was not as described.

Hi Pamela, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We strive to make sure that our guests have an exceptional experience with us and uphold high standards of hospitality. We are sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests. - Communication is highly important to us and we maintain consistent availability to our guests. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed to be addressed. We would have done everything we could to address them immediately. Prior to every guest's arrival, a pre-stay email gets sent to the guest and we leave a welcome letter in the townhouse with instructions to contact us if there are any issues or concerns. - The front door does need to be pushed on but it shouldn't require too much pressure to open for access. - The bathroom cabinets downstairs are a barn-style door type and if pressure was applied, it may have just come off the tracks that it rolls side to side on. - We aim for transparency and our listing and photos are accurately advertised. We do our best to create an environment as comfortable as possible and we’re very sorry that the decor style didn't meet your expectations. Both of the bedrooms are pictures with the exact window coverings that are in the bedrooms. We truly go above and beyond and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.

Not clean

The location was fine and the view as well as seeing the deer each morning and evening was great. Cleanliness is not a top priority. The cabinets as well as many dishes were dirty, making you feel that everything you wanted/needed to use was dirty. Kitchen table has crumbs all over it. Two of the beds sheets were covered in dog hair and had to be washed before sleeping. I don’t appreciate paying a cleaning fee and having to clean. The cleaning fee should be refunded at the very least. I also cleaned out the vacuum so it could be used, it was completely packed full. The owner responded that she would talk with the cleaning people.

Nice townhome, but sparse kitchen

The townhome was nice, cleanliness was only okay. I know that this is a busy time of year, and it looked like a few shortcuts had been made. I do cook and use the kitchen when I stay at a rental home and this home had good dishes, but not much else. I stayed at quite a few rental homes and most have some basics for cooking that this home did not - aluminum foil or plastic wrap. This kitchen didn't even have a garbage disposal and only like 2 trash bags for the kitchen.

Nice location

The only disappointing thing was the pool area was closed for the season which wasn't in the listing. Other then that the view was beautiful, lots of deer and two minutes away from the boat rental. The pontoon boat was great. The room above the reading nook could use blinds, when lights on downstairs the room it too bright.

Would appreciate more info on the location

We came for a wedding in Dripping Springs. When I searched for a VRBO, this property came up. The location at the time said Lake Travis. When I Googled directions it said 28 min. So we booked it. When I got the check in email with the address, we were shocked to find out it was 1hr 15min away from Dripping Springs instead. I was a bit disappointed in that. That being said, the property is beautiful. The scenery I stunning and we loved being able to sit on the back patio and watch the deer walk by all day. Would definitely recommend this place, just know that it is a bit of a drive.
