One 55" Living room TV with DVD player. Each bedroom has a 43" TV. All TV’s have internet access with IPTV Cable (190 Channels)

Four brand new Queens size Sealy Posturepedic Euro top mattress (2 firm, 1 medium, 1 soft). All mattresses have soft protection sheets (safe from bedbug and other allergy concerns)

*Master Bedroom: First floor with a queen size pillow top (firm mattress) bed that fits two people. Large closet, iron and ironing table, nightstands, dresser, mirror, USBreading lamp, alarm clock, and ceiling fans. Bedroom has a 43" tv.

*Upstairs Bedroom: Upstairs private bedroom with 2 queen size pillow top (One firm and medium mattress) beds that fits two people each. Lots of closet storage, nightstand, dressers, mirrors, USB reading lamps, alarm clocks, and ceiling fans. Bedroom has a 43" tv.

Funeral

The house is in a great location, short car ride anywhere you need to go. Very clean. Neighborhood felt safe day and night. Beds are comfortable and showers are very spacious with good water pressure. AC is adjustable to your comfort. Kitchen has all of the necessary basics. Will stay here again!

Alexandria Stay

Property was as advertised and plenty of space for our family. Location was within walking distance to the metro (my kids were able to walk with no issues). Communication with the owner was very good. Wonderful place for families!

This home was nicely updated inside and had an excellent floor plan for a smaller house. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice everything was. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would stay here again.

Wonderful house and location

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was great. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The host was very nice. We didn’t get to see everything and would like to come back to the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Darling Alexandria home

This is a charming little home with a fabulous covered patio. It was perfect for our group to play cards, have a meal and enjoy watch’s others company. The walk to the metro was about 20 minutes (with hills!) but manageable. Andy was very responsive and provided the easiest check out ever!!!

Family vacation

It had three good sized bedrooms and able to sit 6 comfortably in the dining room and 2 at the counter. Worked well to visit national mall via the metro and parking on the street right in front of the house was never a problem.

A Great Home Base

We loved this location. It felt like a home away from home for our visit to the D.C. area. It was within a good walking distance (about 18 - 20 min) for a family of 5 with a 5 year old to get to the metro. We felt very safe in the neighborhood, and enjoyed the time we had at the house as a family. The beds were great, the showers were awesome, and we would definitely re-book this location if we come back to this area.

Cute Alexandria Home

We came to Virginia for a wedding and decided to stay longercand visit tgw DC area. The home was minutes from Kings Street Metro and Old Town Alexandrea. The house was cute, clean and roomy enough for 8. The subdivision was quaint. Our host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful DC Area House

The house was a great place to stay as we were visiting for Spring Break with my family. With two separate bedrooms and their own bathroom upstairs, it gave our family the space we needed for our week long stay. There was never an issue with parking and the new front steps were very convenient (those pictures need to be updated in the listing- it looks great!) Overall, the house was great and had everything you could ask for - my only suggestions would be a Keurig and that is just a personal preference. The location was quiet and conveniently located by the highway - very safe community! Would highly recommend!

Lovely little home

This house was a great place to rest and wind down after spending the day sightseeing in DC. It had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the back patio. The kids loved their room and all the beds were very comfortable. We looked forward to getting back there at the end of our day. The stairs out front were very steep getting to the front door but we knew that from the description on Vrbo.

Great property for a group

We stayed 7 days over Christmas. We made dinner for 8 on Christmas Eve. Large backyard area if we stayed in the summer. 😏 very comfortable. Good location in nice neighborhood. Only challenge is 10 steps up from street. At 75 I am healthy enough to negotiate the stairs, however I think they would be a challenge for anyone with disabilities.

Excellent Property for Family Stay in DC Metro Area

This property served as an excellent vacation rental for our family of 5 for a week-long trip to visit the DC metro area. It’s just a 15 minute drive (during low traffic times) to the National Mall. One metro station is walking distance and another metro station (with a parking garage) is just an 8 minute drive. The beds were all comfortable, kitchen is well-stocked and very nice for meal preparation, the backyard patio and grilling station are also very nice. The neighborhood is well maintained, safe, and very quaint. Our host was both very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this property and host. We’d definitely stay here again.

Just Perfect!

Great location, nice neighborhood close to metro, just a short walk less than a mile. Close to down town Old Alexandria. House was very nice. Manager was responsive and helpful. Would stay here again. I read some comments about the step. They were not bad at all. The house has step but nothing extreme. My 70 year old stepmother navigated them without issue.

Nice & homie

Well locate for uber service. Younger folks walked to metro station & Wegmans grocery. Had a problem with kitchen disposal. Owner promptly arranged to came over and resolve the the problem. He was very responsive to inquiries.

Overall, the property was well-maintained! Everything you need is provided in the updated modern kitchen-very nice and plentiful dishes, all newer appliances, laundry facilities were great-there were even laundry baskets in every bedroom! The bedrooms are all nice sized with plenty of closet space for clothes and suitcases. Beautiful, large tiled showers, and plenty of linens! Owner is very responsive to messages. Super easy check in and out process!! Be aware that there are steps to get up into the house-we knew this and it was no problem for us, even withal a toddler. It was too far for us to want to walk to the metro, however only a short drive with parking available at the King Street Metro! The only reason I have it 4 stars was that the living area was too small for our family to comfortably hang out in the living room and the furniture in the living room was older and not very comfortable. All in all, it is a great place to stay!!

Family vacation

1 week in DC with the family and made lots of memories. The house was perfect for us, 1 bedroom downstairs and the other 2 were upstairs with lots of room, closet space with hangers and dressers. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The backyard walls around the patio didn't make sense in the pictures but now I understand because there is an apartment complex on the other side of the fence, it's a fenced in yard too. There are 13 stairs out front leading up to the front door. There was plenty of parking in front of the house. The host was very easy to communicate with about anything from before check in to check out. The King or Bradock metro really are not within walking distance and has very little daily parking. Parking is available at Huntington, Van Dorn or Springfield. We were very happy with the house and would stay there again.

Very clean and in a good location

Property description accurately describes the house. There are 13 steps from the sidewalk to the house that are new with a good handrail. The bedrooms are well equipped with comfortable beds. Bathrooms are very nice with good showers. Kitchen is nice for cooking your own meals. Lots of dishes, glasses and silverware .Living room is small and the couch is low and not very comfortable. Our stay would have been enhanced with a book that offered tips (such as King St shuttle from the Metro to Old Town Arlington), dinning recommendations, and grocery shopping (check out Wegman’s). More information on house mechanics would be beneficial, such as which thermostat was for top or bottom floor. Our host offered excellent communication.

Wonderful House, to many stairs to get to front door.

The house, the location, the neighborhood are all top notch. The only concern I had was the steep thirteen steps to get to the front door. If you have no problem with stairs, I highly recommend this has the perfect place. But there are no pictures showing the steepness of the front of the property. Beware if you have issues.

Great House

This is a wonderful property in a good location. There is plenty of room and love that the upstairs bedrooms have been separated by a wall making both room private. Andrew was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Yes there is a lot of stairs but they are doable as we are in our 70's. The patio is very relaxing but the grill needs some repair. The Metro is not within walking distance so you will have to drive and pay for parking which ran us $18 a day at the Embassy Suites garage, I would highly recommend this property.

Recently remodeled and almost everything is brand new down to the silverware!

House is about 3/4 of a mile West of King street/Old Town Metro (Yellow and Blue line) and North of Eisenhower Metro (Yellow line), Amtrak, VRE. Right off interstate 495 and near interstate 395.

Safe, quiet family neighborhood with free street parking close to the Masonic Temple lookout, with movie theatre, a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and boutiques in nearby beautiful Old Town Alexandria.
