Now take your fur babies along on your vacation. Please let us know what you would like to bring.
Enjoy the the sights and sounds of the forest; safe and peaceful escape only minutes from Central Ohio! Hike local trails and enjoy Rock House and Conkles Hollow only 7 miles away and 15 miles to Old Mans Cave. Our 3 story 2,200 sq.ft. cabin is located one hour from Columbus.
Enjoy the 3 acre wooded lot w/3 decks, 1/3 mile to beach access at the lake which is located on the drive into the property. Bring your kayak and fishing poles! Some poles are provided.
Main floor has a wood burning stove, fully stocked kitchen, dining area and 55” Big Screen TV/Living area. Enjoy 72MB high speed internet TV. Complimentary coffee bar and s’mores goodies for the campfire 🔥.
Newly remodeled basement has a Big screen TV along with Foosball for teens and fun games for kids.

The road up to the cabin is gravel and can be rough, but drivable. A SUV would be easier but not required, when it is not icy.

There are 3 bedrooms:
Bedroom #1 - 1st Floor w/Queen Bed and TV
First floor - Queen sofa bed
Bedroom #2 - 2nd Floor w/Full and 2-Single Beds
Bedroom #3 - 2nd Floor Master w/ King and private Balcony
Living room has a sleeper sofa
Basement is finished with wrap around couch, Futon and big screen TV with DVD player.

2 Full bathrooms with Tub/Showers - one downstairs and one upstairs
Fully equipped kitchen, Central Air and Electric Heat Pump, wood burning stove, gas grill on deck. Bath linens, Big Screen TV with local Channels & DVD Player. Good selection of movies.
Outdoor fire pit

Cell phone service is spotty in this area.
High speed internet and landline installed.
Limit to 2 fully house trained dogs. Please pickup after your pets and dispose of waste in the large garbage can.
No Smoking allowed in cabin or on decks.

Loved it, great getaway with 4 kiddos. Have hates and a fence let us not worry about them wandering. Lots of sleeping options. Perfect firepit. The road up to the cabin is a bit rough but take it slow (4mph) haha and you’ll be fine. About a 25 min drive from major hikes. Ash cave, Oldmans cave, and Conkles cave/falls. All very nice. Grocery store and gas station in Laurelville

We enjoyed our stay the cabin. The kitchen was stocked very well which was nice. We brought all our own food and ate every meal at the cabin. There was plenty of room for our adult children to do their own thing in the basement or hang with us. You will want all wheel drive or 4x4 vehicle to get up the hills re rough. The beach area was great for swimming, fishing and beating the heat. We really enjoyed our stay and will plan to come back again.

Cabin was exactly as described and one of the most well-appointed that we have been in quite a while. Comfy beds and well stocked kitchen. As a non pet owner I was a little concerned about the pet policy but there was ZERO pet smell! Very clean! We love the two seating areas and the basement one is very cool and comfortable for watching movies. We had a bit of trouble with our loaded Sienna van (with car top carrier and tray) getting up the "road". If you have a higher sitting vehicle you shouldn't have a problem.

We enjoyed a fantastic weekend in the Two Birds Cabin! It was the perfect retreat for us and our mini-Aussie Shepherd. She enjoyed swimming in the pond on property and the fenced in yard at the cabin kept her safe. The property is lovely and relaxing! Our host was easy to communicate with and had excellent recommendations--especially the donuts at the Ridge in Laurelville! Thank you for making our stay special!

The house is very comfortable and well stocked. The area is beautiful. All the rooms a a good size and the beds are comfortable. They provided plenty of necessities like toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and hand soap. There were even dog bowls for our dog to use. Just beware that the road to the house is rough and very steep at one point. Just think ahead if you’re coming in at night or in a small car. The basement was nice for our teenage son to hang out. No problem with WiFi. We plan on going back sometime maybe to see the area a different time of year.

The property was amazing just confused if I stayed there with a pet which I did not there was a ridiculous pet fee for finding hair on the bed or furniture makes no sense because almost all pets shed tbh I'd never travel to place that throws in a 250 fee for finding pet hair luckily I left my service animals in Colorado or there would be a problem with this an we travel a lot throughout Colorado and the United States and never have any of us seen such a ridiculous charge I hope the letter we read was exaggerating other than that the place was really nice and relaxing and the owner was really nice and easy to work with definitely had a good time

Hi Kamron, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I am a little confused reading your review. I do not have any fee for dog hair. There is only a fee of $60 for two medium sized dogs.

Great cabin & location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Garry's cabin. The place was SPOTLESS, well-appointed, and the fenced in yard was perfect for the pups. We enjoyed hiking, swimming and just hanging out and definitely plan to return!
