The Retreat is perfectly located, only 4 miles to Rock House, 5 miles to Conkle's Hollow and 6 miles to Old Man's Cave. The cabin has it all- hot tub, pet friendly, fire pit, treehouse and more. The cabin and property are private, peaceful and located in the heart of the hocking hills state park area. Property highlights include: 6 person hot tub, wood burning fireplace and wrap around porch that offers 360* views. The interior of the cabin is a nice mix of rustic and modern, offering all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway. The firepit is just steps away from the deck and the on- property hiking trail, camping cabin and frog pond offer a diverse selection of interesting places to visit while you are visiting.
The cabin offers 4 private bedrooms, allowing for comfortable sleeping arrangements.

Great stay for a long weekend with dogs and kids. Clean and as described. The kids liked the treehouse with the slide. Hosts were very responsive and even took the extra step to send us something we left behind.

The property is nice inside, has everything you could need. And the wrap around deck was great. And the tree house, and walking path. And if we needed anything the town is not far. It was a very good memory maker.

The main cabin has all the amenities and comfort of a traditional cabin. And if this was all that was offered at the property, you would love it. But the retreat part of the property offers some amazing opportunities. It starts with the views from the wrap around deck which is offered on all sides of the cabin. You can enjoy morning coffee, mid afternoon reading or a group dinner all on the deck. If you like to explore, the property has treasures to check out. Start by visiting the frog pond, located right next to the outdoor fire pit.
Your hosts are seasoned property managers. We have owned and managed our own rentals in Hocking Hills, Lake Erie, Central Pennsylvania and Douglas Lake Tennessee. Our web site, cozy cabin adventures, features all of our current properties.
