Family get away

We stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed our time there. The property was as listed and was well stocked. It was quiet and the area beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Only check in was little unpleasant Because they had me mixed up with other Family, Therefore I had Check in Twice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great Thanksgiving week at Whitetail Lodge. It was very comfortable for 9 people and the kitchen was great for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. We loved being slope side and watching the skiers and snowboarders ride by. We would love to stay there again.

Comfortable and Convenient!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Whitetail Lodge was a very comfortable, clean and nice home to spend our long weekend. The home has three floors to accommodate a large family. All of the conveniences are accounted for and the location couldn’t be better. Right on the Timberline slopes, this is a true ski in and out home. The home is very clean and kitchen well supplied. We had a great experience with the Beat of Canaan in planning our vacation. Thank you!

Whitetail Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was slope side, and convenient to the lift, just be ready to climb on and off the slope. The hot tub never worked, which was a great disappointment as this was one reason we chose this home.Upon arrival we had to call because a toilet didn’t work. It was fixed on the second day of our stay. We appreciated the provided wood for a fire and the giant windows to view skiers going by. There was a light fixture left exposed, holes in two couches, missing fixture covers and broken knives. Many parts of this house could be great, but it needs some repair and maintenance. I would recommend if all was fixed.

Nice stay... plenty of room.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy check-in and check-out. The house is big with plenty of room for everyone, was clean and right on Winterset trail which is nice. The fireplace and hot tub were a huge plus after a day of skiing. Having some steps built into the small hill or a walkway directly from the nice deck to the trail would've made access much easier, but overall the location and house are great.

Great location but needs some repairs

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a great location for skiing. The house layout works for our group size. Things that needs improvement. The kitchen flooring and into the mudroom needs to be replaced. However, it didn't affect our stay. The sliding glass door that goes to the deck doesn't slide smoothly. You need both hands to open/close it. Again, these are nothing that affected the stay but they should be addressed soon.

Great Stay

Overall, this property had everything we needed for our annual family reunion. There is some wear and tear, but overall did not impact our stay. It was great for kids, pets, and adults. We had a great time in this location. It was walking distance to the ski lift, and we were able to jump on the scenic tour.

Once we arrived our concerns dissolved and our dream fantasy vacation became reality. The house exceeded expectations against every anticipated concern. Everyone in our party was pleased.
