Perched at over 3,700 feet on a private 3+ acre lot in a gated community, What a View Lodge is an amenity-packed 3-bedroom plus loft, 3-bath retreat offering 2,674 sq. ft. of space for up to eight guests. The three-level layout features a main-floor king master suite, cathedral ceilings, a gas log fireplace, two lower-level bedrooms (queen and two twins) with a movie den, and a upper loft suite with a queen bed and workstation. Enjoy long-range panoramas stretching toward Clingman’s Dome from two open decks and a spacious screened porch, along with a charcoal grill and flat gravel parking for three vehicles. Located 10 miles from downtown Bryson City—with paved, steep mountain roads leading to the property—it offers effortless proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Deep Creek waterfalls, the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and Cherokee.

Amazing

Everything about this property is wonderful. House was clean, king bed very comfortable, didn’t use any of the others, directions right on, great location and the view and privacy was the best of all. Definitely hope to return again one day.

Great view

The house was beautiful and clean. Exactly as pictured in the post!! The roads were a bit scary for us Floridians but easily managed!! Would definitely recommend for a great cabin feel!!

The view is unmatched!

Beautiful property. The view is incredible all day and amazing at night. Bedrooms are spread over 3 floors which gave our grown kids their space and privacy. Very clean and very well stocked with everything you could need.

Second stay, love this place!

You just can’t find a better view than this one. The last time we stayed here I told my husband that the only thing that could make it better was a hot tub. I got my wish and the hot tub is just the perfect addition. I love the 3 levels of this cabjn that were great when entertaining 3 generations of our family. This property has everything we could need.

Beautiful home only surpassed by the view

Our family of 6 enjoyed our vacation because of this beautiful home, its location and over all comfort. The screened porch was our favorite spot. We ate several meals at the house which were easily prepared in the designer and well equipped kitchen. We felt comfy and secure and had a wonderful time gazing at the magnificent view

Beautiful three story home

Magnificent views from the house which is near the top of the mountain. Don't try getting there in the snow!The kitchen is well stocked and has everything needed to cook for a family. This is the best-appointed home we have stayed in.It does need a gas grill outside or a large charcoal grill. Other than that we can think of nothing that could improve this house. It was a terrific family weekend (4 day) getaway.

Wow! Best mountain views I’ve ever seen!

House is as described in other reviews. Will definitely be back. Likely multiple times. Really enjoyed the NOC and hiking at Deep Creek Trail Head. Bryson City is nice. The Smokey Mountain Railroad was not our favorite, but might have felt differently if our son was under age 10.

"4 Traveling Sisters"

What a fabulous week my three sisters and I enjoyed in this beautiful home. Everything was perfect: the cleanliness, bedrooms/beds, well appointed kitchen, screened porch to enjoy a softly falling rain, but the 'star of the show' was the view from the lovely decks. Truly breathtaking! This was a beautiful memory making place that we will treasure forever. Thank you.

Amazing View

We picked this place to relax after spending time in Pigeon Forge. We were definitely able to do that. It's very quiet and peaceful. Everything was very clean, too. The beds were comfortable. The views are amazing and the pictures here didn't really do it justice. It's really stunning. It's a fairly long drive up that driveway, and we never encountered another car the whole time. The screened-in porch is also amazing and a great place to relax.

Spectacular views!

Everything was fantastic even though it rained the whole week. We saw the elk multiple days, enjoyed waterfalls, and just could not get enough of the mountains! The changing fog gave new views. I read one of the reviews previously, and did take and left more glass tumblers. The lack of extra dishes/silverware was the only annoying thing.

The house would easily accommodate families and friend groups with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The view and setting are just incredible. If you can pull yourself away from the house, there is so much to do in the area. Bryson City, Sylva and Dillsboro offer fun day trips with hiking, shopping and plenty of restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Amazing House with an Awe Inspiring View

Wonderful screened porch off the living room. The home also provides great privacy being one of only a few homes in a gated community on the top of the mountain. The drive up is something that Floridians aren't used to, but we did it several times and got used to the steep grades. Overall a top-tier rental experience!

Amazing! Photos don't do it justice.

This place is absolutely amazing! The house is spacious and clean, with a comfortable great room, two levels of back deck, and a screen porch off the top deck. The beds are very comfortable. But the location and the views are indescribable! This may be the best view I have ever had. Ever. The house sits high on a mountain. You can look straight across to the high peaks of Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed being at the lodge every bit as much as any of the activities we had planned. We will be back to that area, and I really hope that the timing works out that we can stay at this lodge again. Also, the property management company is easy to communicate with, and right on top of any issues you may have. Thanks!

What A View, gave us a beautiful View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house, through the sharp curves, gave my family and I the best view of the mountains we have ever seen. I highly recommend something to get up steep hills and sharp curves. The house was clean and ready to go for our visit. We loved the multiple rooms and bathrooms for our family. The screened in porch was amazing along with the outside porch. The hot tub was also hot and perfect for those cool mountain nights. I have already recommended this property to two of our friends due to how much we loved it and the views. The only thing I would say was a "con" was driving up the mountain there are no mirrors to see around the curves, so make sure you are careful.
