Marco island vacation

Property was clean with a great abundance of beach supplies and everything else we needed. The views and location were awesome. Only problem was the Small beds were very squeaky, the big bed was very hard, and the furniture was uncomfortable.

Beautiful, peaceful location

Amazing week on Marco Island with beautiful views and easy access to Tiger Tail beach. We walked and ran on the beach every morning. We rented bikes, spent time at the pool, enjoyed the beach, went on an airboat ride in the Everglades. Plenty to do for the adults and teenagers in our group.

Simply amazing!

We had an amazing stay! The weather was perfect and the accommodations were perfect! We couldn’t have asked for anything more. It is a bit of a walk to the beach but we actually loved the walking, it provided us our daily workout. If you love watching the sunset this is a perfect place to view it, every evening we would look forward to watching the sunset. Simply amazing!!

Great view, nice complex

Overall this unit was a good value. The view was beautiful and the resort grounds were nice. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. It could really use new cookware - most of the skillets were very worn. Horizon Property Management was very responsive and made check-in/check-out very easy.

Marco Island Sunsets!!!

Beautiful view of the sunsets. Directly in front. Beautiful view of the water even from inside the condo. Lovely spot to enjoy pickle ball, the beach and pool. A few minor repair issues present but the Horizon property managers were great to work with and attend to the issues.

Marco island condo

Property was very nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay. We’ve stayed here before in a different condo but it’s quite a walk to the beach. We didn’t mind but for someone older or with disabilities, it may be difficult walk. Not sure if that was stated in description. But we highly recommend the place!!

Adequate furnishings, Incredible View

I will mostly echo comments made by other renters. The furnishings are adequate, but certain elements are sorely in need of updating. The room with twin beds is uncomfortable to sleep in - the fan is very unstable and make a lot of noise , as do the two beds, any movement on the beds causes considerable noise. The mattresses are old and covered in something that crackles and the headboards aren’t properly attached and knock against the wall. There are plenty of beach towels and beach equipment (including chairs / unbrellas) but I recommend you bring your own beach cart / buggy because the walk over sand to reach the ocean is about 1/2 a mile and the cart in the condo is old and requires more effort to push it over sand than is worth the trouble. Also, pack a tent for the beach or an auger for the beach umbrellas to maximize time at the beach. Overall, I’d recommend this unit because it appeared more comfortable than most others I considered, and the view is spectacular, but, in order for this unit to be truly comfortable, updates are sorely needed in the guest room. Last few tips / thoughts: the saltwater pool is an amazing place to hang out; the porch is lovely, esp in the morning / midday; I wouldn’t recommend trying to cross the lagoon, the deep part is covered in quicksand / silt and will swallow your shoes and feels very icky - instead, wait for low tide and go out to the sand bar to find so so many sand dollars, and take a boat tour of the 10,000 islands.
