All of the above!The location and setting of the Carriage House are perfect, and I love the feel with the antiques - as if I had stepped back in time! Of course, it also had all of the necessary modern amenities!

Perfect for all things Lincoln

Great location, walking distance to most locations. Enjoyed having the space the house provided. Check in and out was smooth, everything was as described. Staying in a historic house like this is a cool thing to do.

Charming Carriage House

The carriage house was just right to transport us back in time while we visited historical sites such as the Lincoln home.museum and the Dana Thomas Frank Lloyd Wright house. It was clean and well provisioned. Would stay there again.

We have stayed in all 3 floors of the main house, and now we've stayed at the Carriage House as well! Accommodations are always lovely no matter which area you stay in. Host is professional, friendly, and very responsive. State capital is visible from one of the bedroom windows in the Carriage House. :- )

We loved the vibe of the Carriage House. We came to Springfield to explore all things Abe Lincoln. The property was close enough to walk to the nearby attractions in town. Easy check in process and great place to stay!

Historic Charm with Modern Convenience

We loved staying at the Carriage House. It met my family's needs perfectly and the location was close to restaurants and attractions like Lincoln's Neighborhood. I highly recommend this property if you're looking for somewhere to stay other than a hotel and be close to downtown in Springfield.

The Carriage house was perfect for our stay in Springfield. The location just blocks from Lincoln's home and neighborhood allowed gave us the opportunity to walk over and "pay him a visit". The carriage house was fantastic for our recent stay in Springfield. The location was perfect. We could park the car and walk to the historical sites and restaurants. Kitchen was easy to use. Washer and dryer was a bonus for us! We had a great time in Springfield.

Great Night’s Sleep
