Ludmila and Guillaume’s cottage was absolute perfection for a fall family getaway. It was exactly as described and exceeded our expectations. We spent the week enjoying the vibrant fall foliage and the quiet calm of the lake. The kids loved all of the critter sightings including deer, blue jays, a beaver, a heron and a baby turtle! Also they loved the foosball table! All the rooms were clean and well furnished with the comfiest bedding. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make and enjoy meals during our stay. Would highly recommend to other families!

Amazing Staycation!

We had such a great time at our stay. The cottage is very cozy and feels very welcoming! The hosts are very hospitable and are quick to answer any questions. Do not hesitate to book this place, you will have a great time!

Very clean and really well-equipped cottage. Everything you could want to enjoy your stay on a peaceful lake. The owners were very responsive and welcoming. A recommended retreat for any family.

Relaxing and quiet

A few of us wanted to get away and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The area was beautiful, easy access to the lake, quiet. Owners were very easy to work with and answered all of our questions. We had a wonderful time, would definitely book again!

Fun, Fires & Watersports!

We rent a cottage to share fun times with our adult children and grandchildren. This cottage offered it all - several boats, shallow water, fire pit - all on a quiet lake. Ours hosts were awesome to top it off!

A quiet and clean cottage.

We were very impressed with the property. It was exactly as listed. It was clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed. The area is quiet and tucked away which is exactly what we wanted. Communication with the property owners was easy. They were very responsive. Would book again.

Ski weekend

We had a great weekend skiing at sir Sam’s! The rental was great! Communication with the host was excellent. It was extremely cold outside but the cabin stayed warm and cozy. We had a 7 month old and the house was very kid friendly with a baby gate and lots of toys. Would recommend

Awesome Get Away

This place is awesome. Love the morning's view of the lake with coffee. You can watch your kids in the water from the deck. Fishing is good. Easy access to the store in town 6mins away. The owner was great to communicate with. Wifi and entertainment was perfect. It has everything you need for fun. Hopefully to back soon.

Sad to leave

Overall our groups experience was great! We loved how peaceful and relaxing the setting of this place is. The cottage is very well kept and spacious, everything you could think of is available from towels, pots pans, flashlights even cinnamon. The lake is a few steps away, spent most of the time on the dock fishing and enjoying the calm scenery, my only complaint is we couldn't stay longer. Thank you for caring about your renters.

Great Family Time in this cottage

The family & I thank Ludmila & Guillaume for the use of there cottage. It was beautiful, clean, spectacular view over the lake from the veranda. The whole sleeping arrangements for our family were perfect. 2 bathrooms Great room downstairs for the teenagers. All 7 of us loved using the kayaks, canoe and paddle board. Fishing was great. My 5 year old grandson was so excited to catch a fish. Saw a beaver, loons, great blue heron, chipmunk, lots of deers. All in all a great vacation. The family and I will have many great memories of this place. My 5 year old grandson said he was going to dream about this place and what he did. Would recommend this place to anyone. Mom, 2 daughters & son and 3 grandkids.

Awesome time!

We are an extended family of 10 ranging from 8 to 74 years old. We loved that the cottage was so clean when we arrived and easy to keep clean throughout. The lake is really special, with a lot of the shoreline undeveloped. We brought 2 kayaks and used their kayaks and canoe as well to the explore the lake every day, seeing loons, beavers, herons, and turtles. For us it is a bonus to be on a lake with no motor boats. By the way the paddle boards and kayaks are really nice boats, sometimes especially with kayaks you get pretty basic ones but these were sit in with good tracking and my 11 yr old niece paddled half the lake with me in them, my 70 is year old mum also could use them. Great boats. We all swam. To jump off it has to be a cannon ball because it's not very deep, however we did go out further in the bay for deeper water as well. There is a nice sandy entry beside the dock. We caught a couple huge fish out in the main part of the lake and played board games every night. We had a foosball tournament and watched the world cup final on the big screen. We also visited the wolf centre and south algonquin (High Falls hike) which was beautiful. We have a long list of criteria that suits our family and this cottage checked them all with maybe a half point deduction that the kids couldn't practice their crazy twisty jumps. Ludmila and Guillaume were super responsive to us and I would highly recommend their place, unless that means it makes it harder for us to book. 😊 TY
