While staying at The Blue Lake House guests will have access to the entire property except for any rooms with a locked door. Please do not try and unlock these doors, these rooms consist of maintenance supplies. To reaffirm, guests will have access to the lower level, main level, and upper level along with any unlocked rooms existing there.

Your furry friends are welcome, with a $200 fee with 2 pets maximum.

Thanksgiving at the Blue Cottage

We had a lovely stay, beautiful and clean cottage with lots of space. We enjoyed the onsite hot tub and sauna as well as lots of fall walks on nearby cottage roads.

This was a lovely property! The outdoor spaces were delightful, and we enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The photographs accurately reflected the interior and exterior spaces, and the interior was comfortable and well-laid-out. We especially loved how light-filled the house was, and the walk-out level game and television room was definitely a bonus! The host was responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed for two nights to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is a nicely built cottage with lots of amenities. It was clean, but in need of a deep clean. We would go again! Thank you for having us!

The Blue House

Comfortable with hot tub and sauna to help relax and all to enjoy. Evening entertainment on smart TVs enjoyable for kids and adults. Access to Haliburton and Eagle Lake easy. Enjoyed the hospitable atmosphere.

The house is very comfortable and the kitchen was quite well equipped. One thing lacking though was placemats for the dining table, and we were told to use the pot holders for protecting the table. Also, the 4 slice toaster only worked for 2 slices as it had been damaged on one side, so that wasn't great when there's 6 people.The décor is very tasteful, however there could be a few more pieces of furniture than just the basics. It would also have been nice to have a coffee table in the living room for our drinks and snacks. A coffee table in the lower level games room would also be useful and maybe put a cabinet under the TV to store the games instead of them just being piled on the floor. We really didn't spend much time in that room though as it was too cold to sit down there for any length of time. All in all, we enjoyed our relaxing Haliburton break with family.

Awesome Place!!!

I stayed here with a group of friends and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated and it had everything we needed and more. We had fun with the kayak and the SUPs on the lake, enjoyed eating out on the deck and hanging around the fire pit. It was very spacious and the host is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would go back to this property and definitely recommend it to others! Thank you so much for having us 😊

Nice property. Not lakefront

Property is nice on the inside. Location is not favourable as it is not lakefront and doesn’t have many opportunities for lakefront activities nearby. Otherwise it is fun if you enjoy sauna and hot tubs and bbqs.
