Long weekend on Catalina

Wonderful location, views, amenities and everything we needed. Family was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great!!!! The house was great, the golf cart was perfect for our group. The response was quick when we wanted to extend our stay. We didn't want to leave. everything was just so perfect. I highly recommend this particular property because if you have trouble with stairs, the golf cart is very close by and easy access.

Customer service on the property was amazing. We had a little problem in the beginning and immediately they came and fixed it. Great view. Loved seeing the deer each time we left the property.

After having a 16 hour day between flights, boat and taxis. I really would have like to stay there and enjoyed the view and relax but we had to find the store in town to get bottled water. Couple of complimentary waters would of been awesome

Great stay!

House is well appointed with amazing views in a very quiet development. A few pieces of torn furniture and the front door lock was tricky to open. Nothing that affected the overall enjoyment of the house.

We always recommend Hamilton Cove in general while staying in Catalina. The unit we rented from Nancy's was very nice, with a great view, etc. Nancy's rentals were very responsive and everything went smoothly. The only negative comment we could make is that the furniture was in poor condition.

Hamilton Cove Stay

We loved our weekend stay in this property at Hamilton Cove. The 6 person golf cart was extra fancy and everything in the unit was as described. Everything was super clean. Well done!

Absolutely Beautiful!

I've lived in So Cal all my life and had never been to Catalina. This place we perfect! Very nice accommodations with a beautiful ocean view. My family used the tennis courts, volleyball court, lawn (spikeball), and of course the workout room with the best workout view ever! It's great to be able to take a short 7 minute golf cart ride to town...and then leave it behind to come back to complete peace and quiet. Highly recommend this!

We are a family of four, with two teenagers, and enjoyed being outside of the hustle & bustle of town once we finished our outings for the day. We appreciated the golf cart to travel to dinner and head to the grocery store. The condo was nicely decorated/updated, the view from the balcony was beautiful, the soaker tub was a plus and the easy access from parking to the front door was nice. Our only negative is that the primary bed is uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The secondary bed was very comfortable.

Nice place

Very nice condo. Need to fix the lock box we were unable to open it but the housekeeper let us in. Would love to come back. Want owner to know that the chair and footstool in livingroom have rips just in case they didn't know. Unfortunately, the bedding smelled like engine oil. I would use a white lighter comforter that is washable. Otherwise, the place was amazing.

ALMOST PERFECT

Everything about this property was great: location, view, amenities and the communication with the rental company was absolutely great! My one and only complaint were the ants! They were everywhere! At first it, i didnt mind. However, as the trip progressed, they really became a nuisance. They were crawling on the toilet paper, woke me up as they crawled on my face as i slept. 1 even crawled inside my son's ear! I read reviews about the ants months ago when i booked and figured that issue would have been addressed by now. Sadly it wasn't.

So glad you enjoyed the stay, but so sorry about the ants! For some reason with Hamilton Cove set on a dirt and rock hill, it attracts ants more than most communities in Catalina. Thank you for letting us know, we will report to mgt and maintenance for treatment.

Horrible Customer Service

My Mom and I stayed here for 9 days . The door was hard to get open, the side door lock does not work. When we checked in - early to drop our stuff off at noon (thankful to be able to do this), the water for the toilets was turned off. I was able to get a hold of them and then followed up twice around 3pm and 6:30pm that the water was still off and no response. Also notified them the golf cart was undrivable - the wheels were severely misaligned and one tire was bald due to it. 8:30pm the toilets started working. 3pm next day the alignment was fixed but the tire was not. We reached out multiple times without a response during our stay. It wasn't until they called to verify checkout that I was able to discuss everything with them! Very frustrating. We stayed in most days and limited what we did because we were very concerned about the the safety of the golf cart. It is extremely hilly/steep and the last thing we needed was a blown tire while going up or down the steep hill. The side door handle/lock needs to be fixed, one of the feet of the main sofas is about to fall off, the is paint peeling off the ceiling possibly due to a slow leak - with that said I can look past that but when my Mom and I can't go anywhere due to a safety concern I have a real problem with that. They have yet to do anything about it. I strongly encourage you to steer clear of this rental with the current property management team in place. They are not dependable.

This is not an experience we want for any of our guests and we make every effort to improve the experience. We hope the refund was some consolation. Since your stay the property has undergone some small renovations and the golf cart has been serviced at the shop.

We had a great time

The property was great. I did want to let you know there is still an ant problem though (we saw receipts from a pest control company from August so I assumed it was related to the ants). The biggest problem was in the kitchen, but they were also in the closets in both bedrooms.

Very disappointed in cleanliness

Very disappointed in cleanliness!!! Dirty sheets , bed pads and duvets with dirty covers and stained blood on them in spare room closet bunched up on the floor with ants crawling all over them . Had to start washing everything at 2:00 am that first night after only arrive at 5:00pm. Severe ant problem in kitchen and one of the bedrooms and closet. Family members had ants crawling on them in bed in the middle of the night. We stripped their bed and everything went in the washer , then had them curled up on couch to sleep. The condo had a little ant baits all around the inside, but obviously the problem is way worse than that temporary solution. Could not leave food out at all because the ants in the kitchen we’re horrendous!!!! Dirty plates in the cabinets and placemats put away in the drawers filthy. The only saving grace was the fact that the view was beautiful from the balconies. Until the address all the cleaning issues and the severe ant problem I would not recommend this condo. We splurged to stay there and it wasn’t worth the money!!! Even with all my complaints I was not offered any sort of refund or compensation for the stay. Whoever their on site management of this condo is obviously doing a poor job. On a plus note their washer and dryer works great!!! Thank God because I had to do so much laundry the first couple days!!!
