Beautiful home

The property was exactly what my family needed while we were in town for the softball world series. Clean and comfortable! My husband spoke to the owners and they were very pleasant. Will stay again should we find ourselves in the area.

Comfortable Respite!

Clean facility; quiet area; comfortable furnishings. The area has an abundance of shopping and restaurants; easy access to major highways. Beds and pillows were comfortable and I had no back or neck issues (which I usually do when I stay at a place). Whomever does the laundry --- a super kudo on the softness of the bath towels!!! I'd stay there again in a heartbeat if I had to visit the Tidewater area!!!

This is a for MIL apartment attached to the primary residence. It has a HUGE walk-in shower, which was great! Ceiling fans in both bedrooms & living room, plus W/D in house! Incredibly quiet, well established neighborhood and conveniently located to Chesapeake Square shopping and dining! We would definitely stay here again!

Points faibles : Communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce.
The VRBO was horrible. It was NOT an ENTIRE HOME nor A GUEST HOUSE with the owner on the premises. It was a BACK PART OF A HOME WITH A GLASS DOOR AND HORRIBLE BLINDS. The pictiures show a grill and fire pit you CAN NOT USE. THERE IS AN OLD ABANDONDED CAR in the driveway. Trash and decieving with the pictures and decription. NO NO NO GO!

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The listing description does note that this is a mother-in-law addition, that the grill is not for guest use, and that an antique car is kept on the property without impacting guest parking or access. We want every guest to feel informed before arrival, and we encourage reviewing the full property description and photos, which reflect these details accurately. We take accuracy in our listing seriously and want future guests to have a clear picture of what to expect so they can decide if it's the right fit for their stay.

Points forts : Propreté, arrivée et emplacement.
The location is very nice and so is the developing home. From the day I arrived until my departure the owner was working on different home improvements which interfered with me allowing my grands to go out to play. I thought I would have full use of the backyard and patio area but the set up was not useful until Monday and I was already there for 4 days. I was given a game that was missing a part which prevented playing with it and I don’t think it was known it was missing. The place was clean and very nicely decorated but the garbage can top kept coming off, very annoying. The drier took forever to dry a small load and the filter kept falling out. There were two cars parked in the driveway which made it difficult coming in out of the space available to park. On this site the property is described as exceptional but it should be listed as very nice .. Good luck Mr & Mrs Johnson

Thank you for your compliments regarding our clean, beautifully decorated home and nice location! We always strive to provide a comfortable stay and love offering extra amenities, like our large Connect Four game, and we're glad we could quickly locate the missing piece for you. Our property features a spacious driveway that comfortably accommodates up to four vehicles, and we always work to ensure smooth parking for everyone. While we were completing a gazebo installation in the yard during your stay, the front yard and back deck remained fully available for your family to enjoy. We appreciate your helpful feedback regarding the dryer filter and trash can lid, and we have already addressed both items. Thank you again for staying with us!
