It was a wonderful stay great host property was well taken care of. House was clean and amenities was ok the only thing that stood out was tvs need a password to log in and out of apps other than that GREAT stay and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay for the weekend down the street from the casino. Great location and communication was good.

Quiet Gem in Portsmouth

This property was cute, well-stocked, clean and close to everything. The hosts were communicative. Check in and check out were easy. The game room was a plus with several young adults among us. Bathrooms were spotless and well-appointed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Very clean, had various appliances for hygiene and other health products, and also a quiet neighborhood overall the experience was great.

The house itself was lovely. It has been remodeled and felt clean and inviting. The kitchen was stunning. The back yard needs some TLC but we did not spend time out there. The neighborhood had trash laying in the road and there were lots of people walking up and down the street and standing at the stop signs. The landfill smell was over powering on Saturday morning. The house had all amenities that it claimed to have and I know the host has no control over the neighborhood.

I’m very impressed! The home was clean and ever essential that I could’ve needed was there. And the host was very understanding to certain last minute responsibilities on my end. I enjoyed my stay!

Great place to stay

The house was so nice and clean and decorate so cute. The neighborhood is a little older but I felt very safe there. We spent most of our time in VA Beach but the drive to and from wasn’t bad at all. I would definitely stay there again.

Family vacation

The rental was clean and looked just like the pictures. The food around the rental however was terrible, gross looking we went to walmart and got our own food to make or ate in virgina beach before heading bacm.

Family vacation

This house was a very clean and nice place to stay. We all enjoyed the game room, it was used every day! It was very nice to be within 30 minutes of every thing (Newport News, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk). I would definitely book this house again.

There were very few rental options around the area and this was the most affordable one for what we were wanting. The property is a tad dated and for that reason there are some cleanliness downfalls that come with an older home (bathroom vents, peeling off screen door, overall a little grimy). The tub in the main bathroom wasn’t working. The backyard amenities (lounge chairs and cushions, grill) were dirty and therefore not used. Kitchen was stocked better than most rental properties - would be nice to see on listing. But the communication with host was pretty lacking. I had to ask 3 times about a late check out before receiving an answer and our check in instructions were never sent, also had to ask for these which was slightly inconvenient during a busy travel day. Fun options for young kids and good bedroom space for families.

Stayed here to visit my family for a wedding. The home was decorated nicely and bright. It was clean and quite. We enjoyed the game room and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals as we didn't want to eat out every night. The listing was exactly as described. House was as pictured. Close to a lot of things. Large enough for 5 adults. A few upgrades in kitchen n bathrooms were nice. Only really negatives were neighborhood run down, most of the games broken or missing pieces, and for the cleaning fee price it was a little dirty under couches and under cushions. Still gave 5 stars overall!

Very nice host

The host was very responsive and professional. The property was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It's a nicely fixed-up older home but in a sketchy neighborhood. After we arrived we were concerned and looked it up on crime watch and it was rated F. Our stay was fine, but I won't pay that much again without checking for crime stats first. We like to explore and walk around and that did not feel like a smart option.
