Little Wren cottage was historically an old shearing shed and has been through many transformations in its 50-year history. Located in the Hesket valley, Little Wren is surrounded by fields, rolling hills and native bush.

Little Wren's charming rustic exterior belies her beautifully renovated interior. Inside, the kitchen provides all the essentials for preparing meals, with comfortable dining space for 4. While no built-in oven or stovetop are available, there is an electric fry pan, a mini oven and a 2 element plug in stove.

The beautifully appointed bedroom is a relaxing space with plenty of natural light and valley views. This space is complete with a wood burner fireplace, snuggly rugs, large leather sofa, and queen bed with luxurious mattress and leather bedhead. The finest European linen and Egyptian cotton ensure absolute comfort and refreshing sleep.

Open the French doors to your private deck and paved courtyard, surrounded by magnificent views of the valley, and not a neighbour in sight... except for perhaps echidnas, kangaroos, possums, sheep and alpacas, never mind all the native birds. Happy wildlife spotting!

Perfectly situated to enjoy the local gems, Little Wren is within 15 minutes drive of more than a dozen wineries, microbreweries and distilleries, with a handful less than 5 minutes away.

7 minutes away is the iconic Hanging Rock, take a picnic to relax in the reserve and scale the rock for spectacular views.

10 minutes to Mt Macedon where you can enjoy the views and walks around Sanatorium Lake, Memorial Cross, Camels Hump, as well as the beautiful historic Mt Macedon town of sprawling gardens and grand homesteads.

Further afield, take a drive out to Trentham Falls, the Hepburn spas, Daylesford and Castlemaine.
