Putney, Super 1 bedroom flat on the river with use of garden

This large one bedroom self-catering flat is available for holiday lets of a week or more throughout the year. With a double bed in the bedroom and a single in the living room. Suitable for 2 people. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer, bathroom with tub/ power shower & free broadband Internet access. Flat occupants have use of the garden leading down to the river and transport into central London is easy via District line tube, train to Waterloo or River Bus. Putney High St is a 5 minute walk and has many excellent shops and restaurants.
The flat is fully equipped, cleaned weekly, and the owners live in the same building should guests have questions or need help.

Overlooking the Thames

Lots of space, bed is very comfortable, loved our stay. Fairly easy access to the Underground. Would stay here again.

On the river

The apartment is very well located. Close to tube , shops and expansive river walks We very much appreciated the layout of the apartment with a large living room and picture window overlooking the river and quite separate from the bedrooms A great place to stay in London.

On the river.

Safe and convenient accommodation in a quiet part of the city. Close to restaurants and stores. Spacious apartment with a big sitting room. Large bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable bed. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable and convenient

The apartment is very comfortable with a lovely and always changing view of the Thames from the lounge room window. Close to transport links to central London - Putney bridge tube station or Uber boat pier are close by. Shops, restaurants and lots of good pubs are an easy walk away. Lovely, quiet location to come back to after a busy day exploring central London. Would happily stay here again when next in London.

Wonderful stay in Puntney!

Great location, great communication with the owner. Easy access to the tub and other transportation to get around London. Being on the Thames was just icing on the cake. Could not have asked for more.

As advertised and better


On the river Thames and very spacious, Swan Studios is conveniently located with a great view of the river. You don’t have to wander far at all to get on the tube! Very spacious and clean. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay out of the cbd.

River Thames Flat

The place was lovely with a beautiful view of the Thames River. Super clean, beds are comfortable and the shower is strong. The pictures do not do it justice. The place is a lot larger. The host Warren is great to communicate with. I look forward to staying there the next time I am in London.

Comfortable stay in Putney

We enjoyed our time staying in this property. It had a large bedroom, lounge/dining roomand a very functional kitchen and bathroom. It is located very close to a wide range of shops and cafes and retail stores in Putney. It has also very close to two tube stations and a national rail station. The property overlooks the Thames river and is a very lovely and well cared for property. We found the beds very comfortable. Our host Wendy was always courteous and helpful and made sure that we had a very pleasant stay.

The property was "as advertised." Wendy and Warren, our contacts, were extremely helpful and pro-active. The apartment is well equipped, warm, and inviting. The washing machine and dryer were efficient and appreciated.

Good find

What a setting, right on the Thames. There is ample space and beds for 3 people. The fully furnished kitchen makes it possible to do some of your own cooking. It’s in a quiet residential neighborhood, but stores, pubs, coffee shops are only a few blocks away. The only downside is that the nearest Tube station involves about 150 stairs, up and down, with nary a lift. I have recommended this place on Facebook.

On the Thames

Friends recommended Warren’s place and we were glad they did. We stayed10 days and experienced the apartment in sunny and cool weather—it was great both ways. It’s about 15 steps up to the place. The sitting room is very spacious with both a sofa and day bed, as well as a dining table with incredible views of the river and wonderful light. The other rooms are up 3 stairs. The kitchen is very well equipped and there’s a small washer and dryer. The bathroom is roomy with 2 drying racks and lots of hot water. The bedroom has tall ceilings, lots of storage and a very comfortable bed. The apartment is extremely quiet, with morning birdsong. We were personally checked in, which was very nice. The area offers good walks, grocers, bakeries, pubs. It’s easy to catch the underground or a bus or the Uber Boat. Thanks Warren for a great stay.
