Escape to the charming Hen House, a two-story haven perfect for large groups. Enjoy cozy accommodations with two queen bedrooms on the first floor and an additional queen, five twin beds, and a trundle upstairs. Relax and unwind in the spacious living and dining rooms, equipped with comfortable seating and two full baths. Cook up a delicious meal in the fully stocked and newly remodeled kitchen or step out and explore the local eateries. Located just steps away from downtown attractions such as museums, shops & pubs. You can also immerse yourself in the full Leadville experience and venture out for endless outdoor adventures like hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing, dog-sledding, snowmobiling, dirt biking, rafting, or take a ride on the historic railway. After a day of exploring, unwind with WiFi, Starz, and Encore for entertainment. Make the Hen House your home base for an unforgettable Leadville experience.

Please take these things into consideration as you plan your trip, and be courteous to your local neighbors by trying to park directly in front of the home you have rented.
Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.
Altitude sickness is real. In Leadville/ Twin Lakes, the elevation can be up to 10,000 feet. Symptoms can include dizziness and nausea, so please be mindful of this.
