Perfect stay at the edge of Port A.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about - this is a great place to stay with family or friends for a week in Port A.

This was a great place, location and exactly what we needed for our trip. We grilled one night, fished at nearby spots a few days and had some great bites at local restaurants.

this house was close to everything. Could walk to restaurants and grocery store if you wanted. Easy drive to Rockport and the ferry.

Nice home that matches its description! Nice location in Aransas Pass close to most everything you need. Home is nicely maintained and furnished with everything you need minus your personal items! Would recommend to anyone looking to get away! Quiet neighborhood is a plus!

We enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet neighborhood. Big enough for a family with multiple kids. Our only 2 cons were we found 2 big water roaches downstairs in the living area & there was only 1 TV.

Awesome Getaway!

Coastal cottage is super cute, very comfortable, located in a very quiet neighborhood, and water just a few blocks away! We saw dolphins while eating breakfast at a local restaurant. We went kayaking to Lydia Ann Lighhouse Trails. It was an absolutely amazing stay. Host was very helpful. We will be back!

Weekend getaway

What a great place to stay! Came out to fish with my son and just felt so at home in this cozy home away from home. Location is so close to all you need, HEB, restaurants, and lucky fishing spots. Best part was coming back from fishing and having all you need to grill up what you caught. Loved it! Will definitely be back 😀

Very private, i wish the mosquitoes wouldnt have been so bad to spend time outside. Nice yard. Top part was not as cool as we would have like it to have been. Will definitely be back.

Melissa is very pleasant and easy to work with. Had a few glitches she ironed out immediately. Property was advertised well. Does have upstairs bedrooms one of which gets the morning sun rise which we loved. Close to Dollar General and H.E.B. Restaurants within walking distance. Good wi-fi. Enjoyed our month.

Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover

The inside has been remodeled and is very cozy. Minor issues keep it from 5 stars. Parking being the main issue but that is just me. I was able to unhook 21 foot boat in drive but it does take some skill to get it there. So if parking on street does not bother you, then non issue. Great owner/manager.

Comfy and Very Responsive Owner

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! The TV was BIG and the Bed was very Comfy! There are a lot of convenient restaurants around and the ferry to Port A was super close. I do have some critiques and information that would have been helpful for me to plan our trip 1. There is not very much dish-wear there, zero plates, mostly bowls and cups. Only one sharp knife for cutting meat. 2. The door lock and unlock is confusing and didn't work most of the time we were there. In fact the place was unlocked when we arrived, Melissa was very quick to respond when I was trying to lock up. We ended up taking most of our valuables with us to the beach and leaving it unlocked. 3. BRING YOUR BUG SPRAY there were a TON of mosquitos, they were basically swarming at the driveway where you park your car and also the front door, trying to get in constantly. 4. The area in photo with the dock and yellow lab is no where to be seen. I'm not sure why that image is in the photos, everything else is very true and beautiful.

So close to being better

Sometimes the little things that can be fixed so easily can make or break you. Let's start with the great things. The ac works great! There is lots of room! The neighborhood is quite! The unit is sparkling clean. The unit is decorated nicely and the water heater works great. Here are somethings that can easily be fixed to make this property better. In the listing it shows to accomadate 5. If it says it will accomadate 5 then there should be sleeping for 5. The "1 sleep sofa" in the listing is misleading. It is not a pull out sleeper sofa but a place one person could sleep on. We paid extra for having five people to find out when we arrived there was a queen size bed, a squeaky twin bed and a sofa. Put an air mattress in the closet if you are going to list it sleeps 5. In the kitchen it is a miss match of dishes. Not one plate to eat on! Go buy 6 plates! No soap to wash your hands in the bathroom the empty container looks nice on the counter. And some extra bath towels would be great. There were 4 on the shelf in the bathroom with 3 wash rags. I did find a old towel in the closet to make 5.Five people could use more than 5 bath towels if you want to wash your hair. We made our stay work and if these small things could be fixed I would give the property a 4 star rating.

Don’t believe the flowery description. Interior clean but has odor. Right off a major street. Exterior is beyond description, in need of major repairs and paint. Old housing trying to look like new resort. Sadly it’s not.

Beach getaway

This place was so perfect for our family of 5! We like things a bit quieter and slower paced so staying here was so peaceful. The house is adorable, clean and so comfortable! The property manager Melissa is so helpful and gets back to you quickly. We can't wait to stay here again!

Weekend fishing trip

OK, you're talking three guys that are going to be fishing all day and only need a place to clean up and a good night's rest. We were pleasantly surprised to find the property well kept and well stocked with necessities. There was a nice picnic table in back that provided shade for us to re-rig for the second day of fishing. We found the property very convenient to groceries, restaurants and a very nice public boat launch. Our only complaint is that the single bed in the living room has some kind of rubber padding and whenever the person sleeping on it turned over it made an awful sound that woke up the other person sleeping in the room. The bedroom with the Queen bed was excellent. We had always used Port Aransas for our base of operations for offshore fishing, but that little fishing town has gotten so expensive! Aransas Pass is our new home.
