This rental property was exceptional and close to everything we needed. The home was spotless and very well equipped, we were all very happy with our accommodation and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was very clean and well appointed with lots of extras. We enjoyed that it was so close to the waterfront area however a little far to walk. The kitchen was well equipped and the laundry area spacious. We would suggest that the description on vrbo be updated to note the tall staircase up into the apartment and the tall tub in the bathroom…especially difficult for those over 70! Hopefully the shower/tub water pressure will be fixed soon as well.

The perfect spot for a home base to explore Halifax! The flat was beyond perfect. Mike was an exceptional host, quick to answer any questions we had. We walked downtown every day and also checked out the neighbourhood restaurants. They were great, too! Highly recommend!

Perfect for our week in Halifax, exceptionally clean and stocked well for all our needs. Shopping center across the street was a plus! Every place we wanted to go was a very short uber ride. Would definitely stay there again. The host, Mike answered all questions promptly!

Nice in the North End

We had a car which made getting into town easier, would be a bit of a walk by the end of a day sightseeing in town/harbor. We liked the evening we went to north end local restaurants and pubs. Nice to be with locals, although downtown wasn’t too crowded with tourists on our visit.

Our Stay

This place is in a great location to stay near the buzz of downtown Halifax but yet far enough away from the noise. Place was very welcoming and clean. Booking was easy to do and communication with the host was very responsive and prompt. My only wish would be more water pressure for the shower. Recommend this place for a great stay in Halifax.
