Lovely bright, new, modern condo, exactly as advertised. Area was very handy to groceries and restaurants. Recommend that you go to Dilly Dally cafe at least once. Check-in was a breeze. We were there for the Blue Nose marathon and the place is closed to the start line. Most sites were in walking distance. Check out the beautiful murals on the sides of the buildings along the street.

Great stay

Great facilities. Stay was comfortable, view amazing. Very modern and good supplies. For short or extended satay. Stayed a couple of weeks to support new grandchild that was just born, Bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again.

Very clean. High end. Wraparound balcony was an excellent place for morning coffee and evening adult beverages. Close proximity to downtown fun and adventures. Underground parking was terrific. Our host Jeff extremely communicative. Made the check in and check out process extremely easy. Highly recommend. We plan to visit Halifax again. Will stay at this property if available.

Lovely Spot in the Artsy End of Town

An excellent property, located approximately 1200 m from Halifax Common and the Citadal. This is a good walk, or a short Uber to everything downtown has to offer. The unit was spotless and well stocked for our stay. The rooms/beds were very comfortable. It was exceptionally nice to come back after a long day,and spend the evening enjoying the view from the wraparound deck Will definitely consider staying here again.

It’s no secret that the best short term rentals are the ones where private owners open their homes to the rental market to help pay the mortgage. You often get the extra amenities like a fully stocked kitchen, real BBQ and sometimes good bedding. “Luxury Penthouse” is not that place. The unit itself is pretty fantastic. Great light and volume. But the photos have not been updated. Directly to the west an even taller high rise has been erected. The whole concept of “island in the sky” crashes to the ground when both bedrooms look directly into windows across the way. Corporate stinginess rears its head when you realize that the “quality cotton linens” are really just cheap polyester, and the kitchen is stocked like a bachelor pad. The neighborhood is great — a mostly residential hub about a mile up from the cruise ship hustle of waterfront Halifax. Expect cool independent eating/drinking establishments and a quiet vibe — until you realize that several American fast food wastelands have taken over — wafting smells of fried chicken McBurgers and microwave pizza permeate the air. This is the corporate side of the vacation rental market. Not special in any way — other than the obvious physical attributes inherent in the architecture. Proceed with Caution

Very accessible

We needed an accessible place to stay with (walker not wheelchair) family for a short visit to Halifax. The condo was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The neighnourhhod was very convenient for groceries and take out.We didn’t use parking or any building facilities. There is a convenient fast food parking which made easier access to taxis with our mobility issues.Great bread and bagel place across the street.A few minor points, condo construction (we found interesting to watch) nearby might bother others (early flood lights on crane) and building dial-in entrance was temperamental (provided fob always worked).We would be very pleased to stay again, Lower cost than train/harbour hotels and easy enough to get where you need to go by cab.
