Beautifully situated property with a gorgeous water view, plenty of shade around the yard, and so many places to sit and relax! We were a group of 17 ladies, a mix of family and friends, for our annual Ladies Weekend, and everyone had plenty of room to enjoy themselves - yoga, reading, walking, sipping wine by the dock. It was a lovely getaway!

Family holiday

We had wonderful time at the house. Location was perfect and the pool was great hit with everyone. We rented a speedboat for 2 days which was delivered at the dock.There was plenty of space for 20 people. Plan on renting this home again.

This is an amazing property! Great for large families, with multiple spaces to relax or congregate. Between the pool and the crabbing, our kids and their cousins spent so much time together. That was the greatest part. From Bald Eagles nesting in a tree right in the backyard, amazing sunrises and sunsets, and fires on the back patio, this home has it all.

We enjoyed this beautiful house and property! We loved being able to kayak and paddle board right from the dock. The house was really spacious and well equipped. Loved the game room, pool, hot tub, and screened-in porch! A few minor negatives: WiFi wasn't great, pool heater wasn't working so the water was pretty cold, and one of the showers wasn't usable due to a major leak. Over all, though, this place was ideal for our large family, and we would stay here again.

Excellent Property - Highly recommended

We stayed with our friends over the New Year. The property was big and easily accommodated our group. It was well furnished and had enough and more towels, cutlery, etc. for our group. The property is well secluded with excellent privacy and water views. Our group really enjoyed the stay at this property.

Wonderful Home

This was an amazing vacation house for our big family. We had 17 people and it fit everyone comfortably. The pictures don’t do this place justice. We 100% recommend and would love to come back!

Spacious beautiful house

The house was well equipped and furnished beautifully. The master bedroom and bath were very large.We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards. The pool was bigger than expected and gave hours of enjoyment. Multiple tables and sitting areas allowed for varied activities in different areas. We ate at one table, puzzles on another and games on another. Sunsets were beautiful. Appreciated the screened in porch.

Pictures don't do this amazing place justice! We all had a wonderful time with loads of space and plenty of attractions! Add to that attention to details and plentiful amenities. We all just wanted to stay more and more!

This house is awesome - very large and has room for all! It also has some old charm character and features that were really fun, like two "hidden staircases" the kids loved! Bedroom layouts were smartly planned to accommodate large groups and families. The property is truly gorgeous and huge - trails in the woods, lakes, tons of space for yard games and a swing set with two working swings. Parking was abundant, great basketball court and well stocked with the basics! The indoor pool is literally spectacular!

Love this Place!

We have stayed at the house multiple times for our family reunion and we fall in love each time we go. The house is huge and allows us to all be together or spread out in one of the many living rooms. The dining room table is great. The views are beautiful. The entire family loves the indoor pool. It is a fantastic family getaway location!

really enjoyed this place

We had a great time. Children and their parents spent a lot of time in the surprisingly large pool. Some adults chose the hot tub and the most active members of our group were paddleboarding and kayaking in the river. Severl people went hiking at Blackwater, and a few of us just sat on the screened in porch.

Definitely would stay again

We extremely enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, kitchen was well equipped and the view was spectacular, especially with the Eagles that have nested on the 32 acre property. However was disappointed in the fact that the fire places were not in working conditions and rooms should have been number. We enjoy kayaking up and down the bay and taking it all in. I would definitely stay again.

Great Property but tons of flies and mosquitos!

This house had it all!! huge pool, awesome grounds, and great views of the water. However, the property was FULL of flies and mosquitos! I usually don't mind if they are outside but that was not the case here. The flies were all of over the inside of the house (kitchen mainly) and made eating a terrible experience. Plus, we all have nasty bites from these insects and they itch and are painful.

As advertised

Spent a week at the property with three generations and multiple families. Aside from picking up groceries, we found little reason to leave the property. Btwn the waterfront dock, the tree shade the screened in porch, the sun deck, the indoor pool and many living areas, everyone found a place to enjoy to be as relaxed or active as they liked.

Fun family getaway

We had a family of 16 people stay at the house and had such a fun time! There house was spacious and we had plenty of room! We used the crab traps (and caught 16 crabs!!) and also used kayaks. We all used indoor pool, game room and just all the rooms around the house. The dining room table was amazing and we ate dinners as a family every night! We would totally do this again!

All was good, except for the issue with the gas stove. 2ea knobs where cracked, so we could operate one side of the gas stove. I have pictures.
