The inside space appears to be newly renovated and easily accommodates two couples. The outside space is minimal except for the front porch. Beds are firm if that is your preference. Does have laundry if needed. Kitchen is stocked to meet the essentials.

Comfy Place Like New and Has Everything

It's not often I book places where I don't need to run out and get coffee, ice and/or water. This place provided all of that and more. It's very nicely laid out and designed (pretty as the pictures) and a very comfy place to stay. Only negative was a neighbor dog that liked to bark at night but not much anyone can do about that and otherwise it was very quiet. Would definitely book this again.

This was the perfect location while attending a family wedding. We actually walked to and from the reception at Brick & Mirth. It was cozy and warm with all amenities included. The snack basket was great! Thank you!

This property is so well done. We got stuck in the snowstorm Jan4th. The home was clean, warm and modern. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We will definitely use this property again when we visit family.

Pleasant Surprise

Great property in Pleasant Hill. My wife and I along with her sister stayed at the property. The house has been completely renovated and was very nice. The furniture is nice and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Kudos to the owners!

Very Pleasant in Pleasant

This property served our stay very well. It has 2 bedrooms, a large bathroom, plus the kitchen and living room are open to each other which makes it feel very open. I even used the rocking chairs on the front porch. The street and area is very quiet. You won't hear a lot of street traffic and I never had problems with any neighbors being loud. The only thing I will point out to guest is that Pleasant Hill is a train town. The train sounds it's horn while passing through and there were trains 2-3 times per night. It was noticeable the first night, but we got used to it right away. It doesn't last long for the actual train to pass. Overall I am planning to come back next year when we need a place for the annual event we have. Highly recommend.

Gateway to the Katy Trail

Stayed a couple of nights while riding the Katy Trail. House had everything one would need. No complaints about the house. The trains can be a bit noisy at night, but it wasn't awful. However, if you are a light sleeper, it might pay to stay farther away from the tracks. The MoPac Spur of the Katy Trail is a short ride away and will take you into the outskirts of KC. The Rock Island Spur takes you east toward St. Louis. It connects with the Katy Trail around Windsor. The Rock Island Spur is flat and straight. It got a bit monotonous after a couple of hours.
