Cute little house, but roomy inside. Well equipped kitchen. The access to the 2 beds upstairs is through the bedroom with the king bed, which is fine for children, but awkward for adults . Plenty of parking. First of the season Notre Dame home game, but neighborhood was quiet. Overall, a good choice.

Cute little house within close proximity to Notre Dame. Lots of places to sleep.This is a small place, but the value is amazing. Note if you sleep in the downstairs basement area it’s a little cooler, if you go upstairs to the finished attic, there’s a fan, but no central air. The main house does have central air. We were a small group and used the 2 rooms on the main level, bother were perfectly comfortable. Cute screened in porch at the front of the house. Basics were there ie toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, small bottles of shampoo. No hairdryer so pack one if you need one.

So clean, had everything and more than I needed. Close to everything and quiet neighborhood!!! This is where I will stay when in South Bend❤️

The check in was easy but not as listed in the email provided. It mentioned that keys would be left in a lock box. That was not the case. There was no lock box, instead there was a mailbox wide open with 3 keys inside. One of the keys was a mystery, I had no idea what it opened. It was a little worrisome that anyone had access to the house keys because they were not locked up. Also the mailbox was covered with cobwebs and when I looked to see if keys were inside, the entire bottom of the box was covered with June bugs, some dead and some alive. I had to reach in under the bugs to retrieve the keys. It was gross. Secondly, there were some issues with outlets. Some worked and some didn’t. Outside of that, things went smoothly.

Clean, comfortable, roomy

As above. The residence is very nice. Check in was really easy. The air conditioning went out the last evening we were there. Temps outside were in the 90's. Not a fault of the owner. We alerted him and he stated it would be addressed.

New Baby and Funeral

We came to meet our new great grandson and happened to have to attend my husband's aunt's funeral. Sense it was his Mom's sister, we brought her also. My mother in law is 90 years old. Most of the family in South Bend came to us to see her so she didn't have to get out in the bad weather other than on funeral day. The house was even better than expected!

Did the job

After having trouble getting into the house, the contact was pretty rude and dismissive. House is definitely lived in with curtain rod taped to the wall, couch in basement can’t withstand the weight of an adult without collapsing. Did the job but would not rent again.

Spotless and Well-decorated!

This property is close to campus and was the perfect home for our family for graduation weekend. The mattresses, linens, and pillows were all very comfortable, and the home is well-decorated in a tasteful Notre Dame theme. It looks smaller from the outside but is surprisingly spacious inside with a good flow between rooms. There is a finished front porch we did not even have a chance to enjoy and there is a spacious upstairs with another sitting area. There is only one full bath, but we coordinated easily among our group. The kitchen was also well-stocked with cooking utensils, good pans, and quality knives. There is a large backyard with a covered patio and a fire pit, along with plenty of fenced-in, secure parking (fits at least 3 cars). The owners are wonderful to work with and own another property of Tonte we had rented for junior parents weekend last year that I also highly recommend. They price their properties fairly compared to others, and we will definitely rent from them again for football weekends.
