4 - Very good

We spent 6 weeks at Ocean Shire and the views from this house are as good as it gets. We snorkeled and dove right in the back yard. The house in my opinion should be offered at a cost of course, with the guest house only because it has things to offer that the Maine house doesn't. It's is small but we would like to return to the house again when we return to Eleuthera.

Beautiful seafront house for a wonderful relaxing vacation

This was an amazing house. It was in a beautiful location and was wonderful, with every detail thought of. Mr Derrick Thompson ensured I had no issues and was on hand if needed. The house is clean and well equipped and the decor was beautiful - in keeping with the wonderful ocean location. I hope to come back to Ocean Shire again and miss it already.

Paradise on the Ocean

The Ocean Shire was the warm, peaceful retreat our cold Michigan bodies needed. It was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the outdoors, especially the sunbathing pod on the water's edge. The updated bathroom in the rear house was wonderful - soft lighting, spacious shower with good water pressure, and plenty of storage and space. The front house is surrounded by full glass sliders, so you really can't beat the view. The caretaker is the most caring and generous man, always available to help. By the end of our trip, he felt like family. We will definitely be coming back again next winter. Thanks for a fantastic vacation!

Lovely Home and Host

Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Oceanshire in May of 2024. This home is very tastefully decorated in the community of Rainbow Bay. We felt at home here and felt safe. The accommodations are as pictured. Airy and spacious with comfortable furniture and beds, good number of bathing and beach towels and plenty of outdoor seating. Everything was in working order, well maintained and clean. I would suggest a few dish cloths, some beach chairs, an umbrella, some storage containers for leftovers (in case you cook like we did) and some outdoor hooks for drying wet beach towels and bathing suits. Some additional task lighting, especially in the kitchen. I’m not complaining at all just a few recommendations to increase the overall experience. I can’t say enough good things about Derrick, the property host. We didn’t have any real issues, but did contact him about a few simple items and he was responsive and professional. He met us at the house when we arrived to greet us and make certain everything was acceptable and came to see us off the morning we left. We feel we made a connection with him due to his warm and friendly demeanor and will look him up when we visit the island again. If we decide to stay in Rainbow Bay again, this property will be top of our list. We would highly recommend this home to our family, friends or anyone looking for a home base while visiting this beautiful island.

Beautifully decorated, light, bright and area. Stocked well. Beach chairs and other items were in great condition. I can’t say enough about the views, absolutely breathtaking. Derrick the caretaker was there to greet us upon our arrival. He was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. All of our questions were answered in a timely manner.We would most definitely stay here again.We would most definitely
