Construite en 2009, cette maison est parfaite pour votre famille avec des tonnes de choses à faire. Situé sur le «Quietside» de Mount Desert Island à bord du parc national d'Acadia et 23 acres de bois. Cadre boisé trÚs privé à quelques minutes de la randonnée, du vélo, des loisirs nautiques et plus encore. Le village de Southwest Harbor est à quelques minutes de la propriété et Bar Harbor est à seulement 20 minutes.

This was one of our absolute favorite vacation rentals. The location was perfect the pool and hot tub were a huge hit! And waking up Christmas morning to all the snow was simply magical. Great location and even in the off season we had an amazing time.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was needed after the full days of hiking and bike riding through Acadia. The kitchen was very well appointed, although we never cooked dinner as we enjoyed the Bar Harbor restaurants - More local to the house, be sure to check out the Sea Ketch restaurant
 it was delicious. We were only home for one sunset, but it was lovely. Also we highly recommend sailing out on the schooner Margaret Todd, a Cessna flight through Scenic Tours of Acadia and biking the Carriage Roads. We highly would recommend the property and all that Acadia has to offer.

This house is great. The property is excellent. The indoor pool was a hit. Check-in was very easy. Quiet neighborhood. 25-30 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor. One minor item is you cannot change the temperature in the house. It is set to 77. Too warm on a hot day. But once things cooled down the breeze through the house is great with the windows open. I would absolutely rent again.

Amazing Family House for Acadia adventures

Huge house and grounds with plenty of room to spread out. Quiet wooded area with lots of amenities, we especially loved the pool and hot tub with hiking every day it was a great way to unwind. Additionally the basement game area led to many highly competitive games of air hockey, ping pong, and pool. So quiet in the mornings we could hear the leaves falling and saw deer just crossing the yard. Big kitchen completely fitted out for anything you wanted to cook. We stuck with breakfast and snacks and hit many local restaurants, Thurston’s, Peter Trouts, and Quietside snacks! Hit both sides for hiking Acadia and some trips to Bar Harbor but really loved being on the quieter side of the island! Perfect house for families or several couples. We definitely recommend this property and can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic time at this property. The home was spacious, clean, and exactly as described. The open layout made it perfect for relaxing and spending time together. Spring break in Acadia!

Kids swam everyday, and parents enjoyed the solitude! Pretty close to Bar Harbor, a nice town with good cafes.

Perfect Christmas

We got lucky with the weather and had a snowy Christmas! It snowed on Christmas Eve, we had the Christmas tree and a toasty fire and our family at this wonderful property! Plentiful room for us and lots of activities for our children, games room, indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and lots of tv’s in every room. The kitchen is well equipped and the gas oven is very similar to mine at home and this all felt home from home. We didn’t stay at the property for time outside and exploring as this was our Christmas getaway, plus it was snowy and cold and very warm and fun to stay in. Also we were excited to see the Deer family visit outside the window. This was a very special memory for us all and one we won’t forget. Superb.

Cannot oversell this enough!

The photos don't do this property justice. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained, we saw lots of deer and turkey along with a few native birds. The pool was clean and maintained, as well as the hot tub. Everything you could possibly need and then some in the kitchen. Cell service was spotty, so the extended wifi was really nice. Owner was very communicative and easy to reach - literally 0 complaints!

Quiet side

This home is huge and quite beautiful. It only has 3 bedrooms, which was perfect for our family. We didn't use the indoor pool but it was bigger than anticipated. We did use the hot tub and it was great after a full day of hiking. It did have a bit of a mildew smell but it didn't deter us. The firepit was great for smores. We bought firewood but there was some left there from former renters, too. Full court outdoor bball court for shooting a few hoops while waiting on the family. It is a bit if a drive into Bar Harbor but we got used to it.

Arcadia Vacation

Loved the house, pool & hot tub. My family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. This home was wonderful, kitchen was fully stocked with everything for cooking. Pool was enjoyed by all. Property was large & isolated from neighbors which allowed us to have nightly fires, watching the stars & the kids loved having smores by the fire. The stars at night were unbelievable The only downfall was the amount of traveling needed to get to our planned daily activities but would not change it.

Quiet Side of Acadia

Away from the crowds and tourists of Bar Harbor, but within a 30 minute drive to town if you venture out that way. This home has something for everyone to enjoy - indoor pool, basketball court, ping-pong table, fire pit surrounded by nature, wildlife and trees. Great for star gazing as there’s no light pollution to detract from the views. We took advantage of the numerous nearby trails as well. The home & grounds were clean, the owners were friendly and respectful. Would definitely recommend for a family or group of friends.

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this house! We have a crew of boys and they were so busy the whole time. Whenever we weren't out, they were busy playing ping pong, in the hot tub or the pool, playing basketball, making campfires or looking at stars. They are all begging for us to go back because we didn't have "enough time." Hosts were very responsive and kitchen was very well stocked. We cooked nearly all our meals there.

A little about our family first my name is Michelle but most people call me Shelley my husbands name is Ricky and we have two young children Cooper who is 13 and Bentley who is 11 I grew up just a mile from this property and my husband is from Ellsworth which you drive through to get to the property. I went to MDI high school where I was part of 3 basketball state championships and then graduated from Maine Maritime Academy where I was known for playing basketball as well. I now work for Margo Stanley Real Estate as a associate broker and my husband and I own our own businesses Miles Motorsports & Complete Car Care which is located in Hancock. Ricky also worked for Morrison Chevrolet for 18 years which is now Darlings Chevrolet in Ellsworth. Rick went to Ellsworth High School where he was a part of 2 soccer state championships. As you can see we are a very busy family when we are not working we are with our family Rick is a Shriner and is part of the Nascar unit of Ellsworth so we go camping a lot to help raise money for the shine hospital. We love being outside ice fishing, snowmobiling, boating, all water and land sports we just love. I would love to answer anything anyone would like to know about me and my family.

We love this property our children always have things to do and so do we. It is very peaceful we are in the middle of 23 acres of woods it is quiet.

indoor pool, hot tub, basketball court, swing set, volleyball court, peace and quiet, covered and not covered porch there is just no one to bother you when your at the property. But still close to everything you would want to do on MDI our property borders parts of acadia national park.
