- This home is equipped with solar heating for the pool! This means that year round the pool will be heated at no charge to you! Please note that solar heating may not leave the pool "warm" but will take the chill out of the water, especially in colder weather. However, if you would like it warmer, pool heating is available for an additional charge.

*Pool heating is necessary for the spa to become true a hot tub. The spa needs to be heated with gas in order to reach a high temperature. Jets will always be available regardless if the spa is heated.

Solterra features its own club house with a large swimming pool (complete with a water slide!), a spa, 24-hour fitness center, business center, Volleyball Courts and Tennis & Basketball Courts, a soccer (football) goal, as well as a children's playground and picnic areas. There is also a poolside restaurant/bar and lazy river (see amenities section below).

Posner Park Shopping Mall is located 5-10 minutes away and features many shops, restaurants as well as a luxury movie theater! Many more shops and places to eat can be found along Hwy 27 and at Champion's Gate (about 5 minutes away).

A Gas BBQ Grill provided free of charge. Guests must clean and empty the drip pan after each use. Guest must exchange the gas propane tank if needed.

No commercial or recreational vehicles, including (but not limited to) tractor trailers, cabs, boats, personal watercraft, recreational vehicles, trailers of any kind, including (but not limited to) hitch trailers, 5th wheel trailers, and gooseneck trailers; or any vehicle that is hauled on a trailer can be parked on property overnight.
Limit of 4 vehicles per reservation.

Pool doors are equipped with chimed alarms to ensure young children are safe. Pool also equipped a safety fence. Please DO NOT fully remove the safety fence provided on the pool deck. This is in place for your protection. To access the pool, simply remove a section of the fence to allow passage. Always replace and secure the fence when the pool or deck is not in use. Fence must be fully replaced upon check-out.

Pool heating is $35 per day, and must be requested and paid in advance. Heating is required to be on for the entire stay. (Minimum 3-nights required if your stay is shorter) Pool heaters are typically set between 88F and 90F, while spas (if available) are set to 104F. Pool heating required for spas to heat up as hot tubs.

*Pool disclaimer: No specific regular pool temperature can be guaranteed by this service. During and after cold fronts, or in winter generally when days are short, pool heaters may struggle, or even be unable to keep the water at the same temperature until the weather gets warmer. The optional pool heater service must be ordered and paid before our service personnel can turn it on. We suggest ordering pool heat prior (72 to 48 hours) to your arrival. Without optional pool heat, pool temperatures can go down to 52 to 60°F in December to March, depending on the weather. The pool heater will help to warm up the pool faster when it gets warmer outside, however, you should not expect “bathtub temperatures” during, or after Central Florida winter cold fronts or cold nights.

*Unfortunately, we are unable to activate / deactivate the pool heater on short notice or provide refunds for previously ordered pool heater service, but we will try our best to accommodate you. We reserve the right to make pool heat unavailable at any time for maintenance or repairs. In case of a technical malfunction, we will refund the pool heat charge for the time the heating service was not available to you. No further credit can be given if pool equipment fails or is unavailable for any reason.
