We had a great stay at Grandview Cottage. The location is fantastic with the Mountain Views and proximity to the hotel. The staff were great. The Cottage easily accommodated our family needs, was very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at the Grandview Cottage. The cottage was comfortable and very convenient to walk into town. The sunrise was nice from the balcony. We would stay there again.

Cottage was very clean and location was perfect. Walking distance to shops and dining. Dog friendly and very spacious! Basically 3 separate hotel rooms with private bathrooms and giant common kitchen and living areas. Worked great for our party of 6 and dog. Would definitely stay again!

This place was amazing. Full amenities of a home with access to hotel facilities. Great location, very clean and beds were extremely comfortable!! Can’t say enough good things about this place. Perfect for groups or families.

This place was perfect for our work week during the Lake Placid World Cup Mountain Bike Race. The house was set up with what we needed for our stay. Perfect location for getting out to Whiteface and Mt. Van Hovenberg. Easy walk across the lawn to the steps down to town, with gorgeous views along the way.

Crowne Plaza properties always deliver. Great location, clean and comfortable. Spacious and private with access to the beautiful hotel and all of it's amenities. WEe can't say enough about our Lake Placid experience, it is always an amazi g time and it is only made better by staying in a Crown Plaza VR O.

This house is very spacious. I hadn’t realized it would be thisclose to the hotel itself, but swimming there on the afternoon it rained was a huge plus. The check in and check out process was extremely simple. Overall, a win for our family trip!

AMAZING!!!

Another fantastic stay at a Crowne Plaza property. Even better this year, being at the actual hotel, which is simply gorgeous. The views are surreal. We enjoyed the hotel bar and pool and having Main Street so close was excellent. The property and town are extremely dog-friendly, which is fantastic. The hotel staff are terrific, we were treated like family. The house itself was immaculate, spacious, well maintained and perfect for our trip. I cannot praise Crowne Plaza properties enough, we look forward to next year already! Thanks for a perfect vacation!!

There was no indication of any issues until I presented you with a bill for the damage caused by your unregistered dog, which you refused to pay. Your dog scratched and chewed on several doors and trim. The bathroom door needed to be removed repaired and repainted on both sides. Bathroom door trim needed to be removed and refinished. Bedroom door was removed and refinished. Bedroom door trim was removed and refinished and we replaced threshold due to carpet torn from dog. We also found dog urine in the living room and bedroom and all carpets needed to be shampooed. You are not welcome to stay in our rentals again.

Mediocre property but great location

My party of 6 came for Ironman Lake Placid week. The cottage is owned by the Crowne Plaza. The property is very dated — old carpeting; basic cable tvs; old kitchen and minimal kitchen serving ware and prep tools. We had issues with hotel guests parking in the driveway and had to call the hotel each time to take care of the issue. We had a 1 week reservation and called hotel to request blankets since there were none on the beds - it was like pulling teeth but we finally got them. We also requested additional toilet paper and paper towels since we only got one roll of paper towels and only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a one week rental, but the hotel said they would not provide them to us. We had an issue with ants and silverfish in all of the bathrooms and kitchen. The only positives were that the bedding and towels were clean and it is located very close to town and to the Ironman start/finish. There are many other properties in Lake Placid that are better value for the cost. We will not be returning.

The Grandview Cottage is the perfect location and you have access to the hotel amenities which is nice as well. The host is very responsive all the time. We will plan to stay here again in the future.

Nice location

We were surprised with the amount of space in the cottage. We were in the king bedroom downstairs with the very high bed. The bathroom was very nice. Our 3 adult kids used the two upstairs bedrooms and had plenty of space. The kitchen table was perfect for a family game. We had breakfast at the hotel which was delicious. We walked around the stores and had a good meal. The house was nice and quiet. We had a short drive to several attractions we wanted to see. We would stay here again.

Epic Mountain Getaway

I don’t know where to begin. This place was magical. The views are from every window. Mountains, the lake, the village. You couldn’t ask for more. The cottage was beautiful inside and out. And accessing it was even better. Literally just pull right up to the door. And the restaurants and bars of the village are right at your feet when you’re done with your day exploring the Adirondacks!!! Can’t wait to go again! Did not want to leave!
