A delightful and tranquil oasis in a perfect spot

Everything about the stay was very well organized. Someone was actually waiting outside the apartment to greet us (off the inevitable delayed flight). The apartment is spotlessly clean with all the amenities that one would expect. It was surprisingly quiet as it is only 20 metres from the Vaparetto stop of San Stae, which is about the ideal place to stay. During the season the tourist areas anywhere near San Marco and the Rialto are heaving with a solid mass of tourists. By contrast it is in Santa Croce which, with the nearby areas (Cannaregio, San Polo and Dorsodouro) is where many of the good sights, and good value restaurants are to be found. Strongly recommended.

Modern, comfortable apartment in a great location.

Communication with the host was great. They arranged for someone to meet us and let us in and provided phone numbers to contact them. When we wanted to check in a little bit earlier, they contacted another friend who could get there sooner to let us in. They showed us around the apartment and gave us a few instructions for checkout etc. They also sent us an email with a lot of their favorite restaurants and recommendations of things to do that was VERY helpful (and comprehensive)! Not to mention they had lots of travel guides and maps in the apartment to help out. The apartment was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. There is also an AC unit that works really well if it is warm and there is a washing machine that we didn't end up using, but I assume works. The bathroom was nice and was equipped with most anything you would need. It was a bit hard to find the apartment at first because we didn't have vaporetto tickets for our first night, but it is literally right next to one of the stops so it is very easy to get to if you have tickets! It was a really nice place to stay and was very modern and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Emplacement idéal

Superbe appartement en rez de chaussée, où rien ne manque et très facilement accessible. Le seul hic la pluie et une famille nombreuse de lève-tôt en vacances juste au dessus de l’apparemment :D Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils.

Super gelegen mit einer Atmosphäre von Venedig

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet mit allem was wir für einen Wochenaufenthalt benötigten. Für mich war die Ansicht der Decke ein Gefühl von Venedig. Auch die Bilder und Bücher machten die Wohnung gemütlich. Schön wäre eine Veränderung der Möbel die aus Plastik sind. Danke und viele Grüße Rudolf

Un beau week-end à Venise

Studio parfaitement situé, à quelques pas de la station San Stae. Très pratique lorsque le temps est froid ou pluvieux. Petits commerces à proximité. Calme et silencieux, bonne literie, conception assez pratique du studio. Manque seulement une théière !

Venise sensationnelle

Un séjour à Venise est toujours pour nous un grand plaisir...cette fois il faut y ajouter la qualité d'un excellent accueil dans un superbe appartement situé en plein centre de Venise à 20m de la station de vaporetto San Stae, mais à l'abri des nombreux touristes qui circulent entre la gare Santa Lucia et la Piazza San Marco. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le fait d'avoir quelques provisions en arrivant, nous permettant de nous installer calmement. Nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement et espérons y revenir bientôt

cozy apartment for two

The apartment was as advertised. The location was great and it was very comfortable. The hosts were unable to meet us and made arrangements for a friend to meet us and show us around. They also left helpful information about how to get to the apartment from the airport, where to eat, and what to see.

Appartement idéalement situé, au confort et équipement suffisants.

L 'appartement, facile à rejoindre, est fort bien situé: central tout en étant à l'écart des espaces les plus fréquentés, on accède aisément à tous les quartiers vénitiens, à 1 minute du vaporetto (au bout de la rue) ce qui facilite la plupart des déplacements, sans se perdre, vers plusieurs lieux de visite. A proximité se trouvent des restaurants et cafés à recommander, des commerces alimentaires de qualité ainsi qu'une supérette. Le confort et l'équipement sont suffisants. L'accueil est chaleureux et les informations données par Ida et Giorgio sont bien pensées pour rendre le séjour agréable. Nous reviendrions volontiers dans ce logement lors d'un nouveau séjour.

Location, location, location!

Giorgio's place has it all - location, new fixtures and decor, a neighborhood vibe, and a 500-year-old church. What more do you want? Take the Alilaguna orange line from the airport to San Stae, walk 25 yards, and unpack. Walk to everything, eat at nearby joints, avoid the group tours. No mega-hotels, no cruisers, no idiots. Quiet, clean, good A/C, you get the idea. We loved it. Go.

Great location and very friendly and knowledgeable hosts!!

We loved this location as it's a bit off the path of the tourists and in a nice neighborhood. The hosts recommended two restaurants, very close that we loved (osteria de mocinego and la de zucchini)!! The hosts are very friendly and accessible. We appreciated catching up on laundry at the apartment. The wifi was inconsistent and the apartment was on the ground floor. Neither of these are deal breakers for us, but we weren't able to enjoy the open windows as much as we would have preferred. We would definitely return and recommend this place for a nice stay in Venice.

geschmackvolle Wohnung am Canal Grande

Die Wohnung ist super ! Schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber, hell und im Sommer trotzdem kühl. Die Wohnung ist gerade einmal 10 Meter von der Vaporettostation San Stae entfernt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind schnell zu erreichen und ein Supermarkt ist quasi um die Ecke. Die Buchung hat schnell und problemlos geklappt und bei der Ankunft wurden wir von einer Freundin der Vermieterin sehr lieb direkt an der Vaporetto Station in Empfang genommen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen! Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Alles Bestens

Unser Appartement war funktional, dabei geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben alles vorgefunden, was wir benötigten. Die Lage war optimal (20 Meter von der Vaporetto-Statin San Stae entfernt). In der Nähe sind Restaurant und Bars zur Genüge. Rialto ist nicht weit. Abends ist es aber sehr ruhig. Perfekt.

Bel endroit idéalement situé

A deux pas de tout, à dix minutes de la gare (quand on a repéré l'itinéraire), à moins de 100 mètres du vaporetto, à trois minutes de San Giacomo dell'Orio (l'un des plus charmants campi de Venise), à quelques ponts de bons restaurants, de commerces de qualité (même bio si l'on préfère) et de tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin durant une période de vacances. L'accueil est charmant, le lieu est bien équipé. Un peu trop de plastique à mon goût, mais cela reste une question de goût. Je recommande...

Absolutely Wonderful!!!!

Nice Apartment, Great Location!

The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great location very close to the San Stae water taxi stop. We loved the central location to everything. We walked to the farmer's market, Rialto bridge, train station, etc. We also took the water taxi to St. Mark's square and other sights. To save money we chose to cook some of our meals and the apartment had everything we needed. Ida was even kind enough to provide us with some crackers/biscuits for snacks or breakfast. All the facilities are new, modern and functioning. Both the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here. Thank you!

Super sejour

L'appartement est superbement bien situé. Il est equipé de tout ce qui est nécéssaire a un sejour confortable. Nous avons été tres bien accuellis par Silvia. A proximité se trouvent boulangerie, supermarché, restaurants tres bons (nous recommandons entre autres Al ponte del Megio) et glaciers (delicieux). L'espace de quelques jours, nous nous sommes sentis "chez nous". Nous le recommandons chaleureusement!
