Grandy Nook is a spacious two bedroom apartment in a building of architectural interest, in Keswick Town centre. It is situated on the second floor, with rooftop views of the fells from several rooms and is fully double glazed to provide a peaceful haven.

The bright welcoming kitchen has plenty of worktop and cupboard space for those planning to cook and dine in. It is fully fitted with fridge, freezer, microwave, electric oven, gas hob and a washing machine. There are beautiful rooftop views looking towards the fells to enjoy from the window.

The living/dining room is the perfect place to gather and socialise. There is plenty of comfortable seating, cosy electric flame effect fire, TV and a lovely prominent feature being the semi circular stone mullioned windows.

There are two bedrooms each made up with luxury linen and towels. The master bedroom has a double bed and single bed plus plenty of drawer and hanging space. The second bedroom has bunk beds, chest of drawers and shelving.

There are many amenities literally on the doorstep, including numerous traditional pubs serving good food and real ale, a wide variety of restaurants serving Indian, Chinese, Italian and English cuisine and an array of shops. Keswick boasts many visitor attractions, such as the Theatre by the Lake, a Leisure Pool, Museums and a Cinema. The Lake is a 10 minute stroll, with easy walks around or more strenuous walks for the more adventurous on the surrounding fells.

Beautiful apartment, lovely furnishings and great central location. Our only complaint was we couldn’t get the oven to work, it definitely needs replacing as seems a bit old.

Located in central Keswick giving easy access to all amenities. A lovely home from home holiday let. Very well equipped and nicely decorated. The bunk beds were a bit wobbly and may need some attention.

Fabulous

Warm, comfortable and spacious apartment, ideally located in the centre of Keswick. Huge main bedroom, well equipped kitchen and the fact that you can control the heating made it a perfect base for a short winter break.

Fantastic week for 2 adults & baby without car

Fantastic week at Grandy Nook for 2 adults + 10month baby. Highly recommend to those looking for car-free trip to Lakes, with all the options of Keswick (pubs, restaurant, supermarket) + buses elsewhere. Accommodation was ideal - very comfy bed, spacious lounge area, functional kitchen & bathroom. Great heating & smart TV for chilly Dec nights. Service from Jessica was brilliant throughout. Will be contacting Keswick Cottages for next Lakes adventure.

Very Friendly Staff and Excellent Location

The Keswick Cottages Office is nearby and the staff provide very friendly, responsive, and helpful support. The apartment is a spacious, 2-Bedroom apartment in a prime location, in central Keswick. Reserved parking for the apartment is ‘off street’ and nearby. Would definitely consider renting again.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Keswick

I’m partly reluctant to give a positive review because then others will know how good this is and we might struggle to re-book! Superb location, very close to brewery tap, wine bar and other bars and restaurants. A stone’s throw from market square. Yet, it’s so very peaceful and relaxing. Very spacious and very comfortable. Dining in the “turret” is a unique experience and we loved it. Main bedroom is huge with an enormous, very comfortable bed. Black out blinds and double glazing makes it a peaceful haven. We didn’t use the second bedroom but it was roomy with comfy looking bunk beds. Good size bathroom with powerful shower over the bath. If I was being picky, the bath itself could have been a bit bigger. Kitchen was a good size and very well equipped. We had a minor problem with the oven and were extreme impressed with how efficiently customer service resolved it - on a Sunday night too ! Hats off to you for that. The homely touch was nice too, you had to remove your shoes on entering the building - keeps everything clean. Safe area to leave walking boots too. Overall, a wonderful place and exceptional customer service.

Great location

We had a great week at Grandy Nook. The central location was brilliant and the views and weather were fantastic during our stay. It's very spacious and comfortable. We had a few issues which weren't ideal: One of the 2 blinds in the bedroom was half open and would neither open nor close The shaver socket in the bathroom didn't work so we couldn't charge our toothbrushes There were bits of crisps in some of the bins and on the floor and in one of the kitchen drawers when we arrived and a peanut on the living room floor and the dining table mats had sticky stuff on them, so it didn't feel very well cleaned

A comfortable stay in a great location!

We loved our stay at Grandy Nook. We were initially nervous about the parking on arrival but the Keswick Cottage’s team were super quick and helpful to help us meaning we could park easily. The flat was lovely! Spacious, light and so warm. Comfiest bed we’ve had in a while at a rental property. Pillows were spot on. Shower was always hot. Nice welcome packs and a lovely birthday surprise! Loved the decor. The kitchen was very well equipped. The second floor didn’t put us off and you’re soon up the stairs. You can’t fault the location - and we didn’t have any issues with noise from early morning deliveries. Great property.

Perfect location with parking

We found Grandy Nook to be perfect for our needs. Central/parking/excellent quality furnishings. Spacious second floor appt with very large main bedroom. Kitchen well equipped. Second bedroom with bunk beds on the small side but adequate for children. The entrance hallway is shared with two other appts. and is nicely carpeted but as a consequence you are asked to remove footwear so it’s worth bringing slippers.

Great Stay

We came up to stay as I was doing the Bob Graham Round. Located in a perfect spot and dog friendly we would definitely use again. It isn't the cheapest place to stay by any means. But you get what you pay for in terms of central location, convenience and it was clean and tidy and I have no complaints that way. Unfortunately outside of the renters control as I finished my Bob Graham Round, (over 23 hours of running 42 peaks), went back to the apartment and United Utilities had turned the water off for a number of hours due to a leak in the area. Luckily for me my parents were staying a few streets away so I hobbled back downstairs and went there for a shower. But this was the most unfortunate and Unwelcome timing you could possibly get to have no water, as you can appreciate. However I also understand this was not Keswick Cottages fault or the owners but naturally it did take the gloss off the stay. Hopefully its not a persistent issue for others. I was very impressed though with Keswick cottages. Put it this way if I was an owner of a cottage in the area and rented it out, I would 100% use them. Professional from start to finish, with excellent comms and guidebook app for your mobile phone.
