Rooftop Delight with Terrace

"Rooftop Delight" is a romantic, elegant and welcoming apartment a few steps from the historic center! The two-level apartment with entrance from Piazzale Ricasoli is located on the third floor of an elegant historic building with an entrance a few steps from the station. With an area of 55 square meters, it can accommodate from 2 to 4 people and is perfect for couples of all ages who want to spend a beautiful and romantic holiday in Lucca, for children and for business travellers! It is furnished with great taste and elegance, with furniture that creates a very welcoming atmosphere. It consists of a living room with a comfortable sofa bed which leads to the kitchen complete with all the necessary accessories for cooking and a bathroom with shower. In the sleeping area we find the master bedroom with a large wardrobe. Upstairs we find a splendid terrace from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the walls and towers of Lucca. Free Wi-Fi and Air Conditioning are available!

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Very good location, close to train station and across the street from walled entrance to Lucca. Only downside is climbing 3 floors with no elevator. Roof top terrace was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

We loved our stay at Rooftop Terrace. A short walk from our building and we were in the heart of Lucca. The place is just as pictured and hosts were available and responsive before and during stay. It is on the top floor, so hauling luggage up took some heft, but otherwise the location was perfect. It’s a 2 min walk from the train station vs hauling your suitcase through town.We had a comfortable stay and would recommend.

Great Lucca location

The apartment was perfect for our stay! We felt very safe and it was just a short walk into the walled city. The train station was convenient also. We were concerned with the noise from the train, but they are electric and we actually never heard a train at all!

Beautiful terrace with view of city walls

We had a short stay but well worth it. We were across the street from the entrance to the walled city. The benefit of this was that we could see the walls from our terrace. Location was also convenient to the train station. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well.

Great host, great apartment, great location

Just a block from the wall, opposite train station so easily accessible. Fabulous terrace for evening and morning moments. Host left a ‘welcome package’ with treats - a very nice touch. All information about stay was clearly outlined and maps and tourist info provided. Doesn’t get any better.

Hillside Delight

This is a beautiful apartment, a cut above what one usually finds. An excellent location convenient to old Bologna. Our gracious hostess met us at the apartment and introduced us to the place and provided recommendations for food and shopping. Very good choice.

Great location just outside the walls of Lucca

We had a 3 day stay…parking was within 200 meters at the train station parking lot…easy walk through St.Peter’s gate about 300 meters away…the rooftop patio is wonderful, especially early am and late at night when not so hot…downside was 81 steps up to apartment…so if you have a lot of luggage or you are health compromised, maybe not the place for you…other suggestion to the owners…please put some city maps in the apartment…we had to search through the town before finally finding the visitor’s center to get a map…so were compromised when entering the town for the first time…otherwise we loved our stay here

This accommodation has a fantastic view, immaculately clean, easy to locate and has everything you needed and more for a trip to Lucca. The location is just a few minutes walk to all of the brilliant cafes, bars, restaurants and train station - Great if you intend on hopping to other destinations while you stay. We received professional, amazing service from everyone we had contact with, from originally booking to check out. We really couldn’t have asked for anything better. Thankyou again for a wonderful stay. Nothing - totally professional, can’t fault anything.
