This property is one that checked all of our favorite “boxes” for rentals abroad. It was secure: outer door with key to the foyer / stairs followed by a key to our suite.Fully functional: superior water pressure, toilet and bidet, kitchen supplied with enough for coffee, light meals, and happy hour. Air conditioning and portable fan in the suite.Comfortable: bed and pillows; couch and chairs - all top tier.Ideal location: located off an alley from one of the main cobblestone roads full of shops, restaurants, and points of interest.Best of all was access to the host. There was a very useful guide left by the host that described all manner of amenities available in town and around the area. She was accessible for questions at the number she shared on arrival. We immediately recommended this property to friends as we knew they had plans to visit soon. It’s just that good!

Studio Santa Croce was perfect for my stay in Lucca. It was spotlessly clean and everything worked well. Most impressive was how the host, Vanessa, looked after each of my needs and responded immediately when I had any questions. This apartment is within walking distance of anything a traveler needs. It also has a modernized bathroom, shower, and washer/dryer.

Absolutely excellent stay! The host was incredible—friendly, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The location couldn’t be better, close to everything I needed. The apartment itself was amazing: beautifully kept, spacious, and so comfortable. I have to mention the bed—it was honestly better than the one I have at home! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’d highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.
