Ground floor apartment in a XIX century building completely renovated in 2012 by the owners.

Ideal for a stay of two, has a bedroom with double bed and bathroom, living room with sofa bed, kitchen equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender. The apartment also has a TV, heater, hairdryer, iron and tourist information about the city.

A little welcoming surprise gift is guaranteed by the hosts.

The apartment is located next to one of Europe's most beautiful avenues, Avenida da Liberdade. The Avenida subway station and several bus stops are located within five minutes walk of this apartment and ten minutes is the Rossio train station.

Lisbon enjoys a mild climate even in winter is ideal for touring the city on foot and enjoy what it has to offer. Nearby are the shops internationally renowned Avenue, traditional shops, kiosks, terraced street, typical restaurants, nightlife, theaters, cinema, supermarkets, hospitals, located in front of the entrance to the Torel garden with a stunning view over Botanical garden and Bairro Alto.

The room was clean and functional. It was a minimalist apartment but everything worked. It was a comfortable place to base our 4 days in Lisbon. The location was very good for getting to everything we wanted to see.

Le séjour s’est bien déroulé avec une très bonne communication ainsi qu’un bel accueil. L’emplacement est idéal à proximité du centre-ville qui a rendu notre séjour à Lisbonne agréable. Le propriétaire est très réactif et arrangeant, il fait preuve de professionnalisme. Quant au logement, il était conforme à nos attentes, je recommande !

Die Wohnung war insgesamt in Ordnung. Das Bad war funktional und in akzeptablem Zustand. Die Wohnung war sauber, alles war gepflegt und ordentlich. Die Lage ist ein echtes Highlight: sehr zentral, ideal für Ausflüge und Erkundungen. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Comfortable bed, good location

The apartment was great for 2 people to go out and about exploring the city. Easy to walk to lots of restaurants, unique little shops, even an Aldi supermarket close walking distance to the apartment. The bed was very comfortable too, and the hosts were very responsive to our needs.

Appartement incroyable en plein coeur de Lisbonne !

Nous sommes ravis de notre expérience dans cet appartement ! Il possède toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour sans prise de tête ( linge, vaisselle, produits d'entretien de base, WIFI ...) La communication avec les hôtes était très fluide, la localisation idéale, proche de tout, à pied ou en transport. Je recommande cet appartement à 100 % !!

It was overall a good experience. The location was great. The apartment is on ground level so it was slightly unnerving. Further, there was black stains in the shower that were not fixed even with additional cleaning.

The Windmill is a small property, that is simply, but comfortable furnished. The location is a busy one and the property is just feet from the street in front and to the side. There is a bus that comes up the street or you can walk down to Avenida do Liberdade to get to the Metro, although the walk will get you in shape as it is uphill. Communication with the owners was very good and there is a laundromat about a half a block from the property. There is no central heating and heat is provided by two space heaters - which are quite ample for the space. The building appears to be quite old and there are a couple of cupboards that smell a bit moldy, so it may not be suitable for people with allergies. There are lots of restaurants within 4 blocks and overall it is a very convenient location, especially if you are walking or taking public transportation.
